Since GrinningChimera asked for some before and after pics I thought I just start a topic about it and because it's about a creative process I'll post it here.

So this is a pic of how the pieces look like now:


I had to cut off lots of plastic from all the pieces first. Here is how it looked at the beginning:


Next step will be to undercoat them and then paint them seperately before I glue them all together.

I was wondering if there never have been any plans to bring Judge Dredd to Germany? Does anyone know? It is such a great comic yet it seems that there are no plans for expansion. I would like to buy the Megazine from a german store.

A year ago I had to draw pictures where I had to morph something from one object to another so I thought Dredd and his badge would be cool:

I had to do my own magazin cover for my appreniceship as a graphic designer since we had to learn how to make a professional layout. We could choose the topic ourselves so I thought it would be cool if we had a german Judge Dredd magazin with articels about news, cosplay, a comic and so on.

My teacher thought it's a good design so I thought you might want to see it. Since it's all fictional this issue is about Dredd 2.

Is there anyone playing one of the LBP games? I'm really into it but lately I'm a bit too lazy to build nything. The more I hear about the lack of a Judge Dredd game I think about making something at LBP2 myself though.

How about you guys?

Maybe there are already topics about this but I couldn't find anything so I just start my own.
I think about making a helmet for quite a while now and I mean a real, robust helmet which looks like the one from the new movie. I also thought about buying one but I have no idea where I could get the movie helmet.
My question is, does anyone know how to make a helmet and what materials to use? I'm sure there are some people who already tried to do such a thing.

I remember a time when I was a teenager and could find some of the comics in one of our local book stores but now that i have the money to buy them I can't find them anywhere. If there is any german in this forum, do you know if I can still buy them somewhere accept the internet?

I was wondering if there are any plans for a new Judge Dredd game you heared of? The only new games I know about are Judge Dredd vs. Zombies and some other handy game. What I mean is a proper console or PC game though.

Hello guys! Finaly I can post to this forum. Took several days for the admins to activate my account. O: Almost thought they would never do it. ^^

I always have been very interested in Judge Dredd. As a teenager I used to look into the comics in one of our bookstores and I loved it. Never had the money to buy them though. I also loved the movie even if it was nothing like the comics and I still like to watch it. I even enjoyed that rather bad PS2 game Dredd vs. Death and bought it again for the old XBox a few days ago. Also I can't wait for the new movie to come to Germany!

Even if I'm that interested I don't call myself a fan because I don't know much about the comics. That is one of the reasons why registered to this forum. I'd like some advice where to start, what to know and where to buy it. Do I have to start with the old 70s comics, or is there something like modern remakes? How many comics or series are there and were to get them?
