I started reading Cla$$war recently and I can highly recommend it...damn, this going digital idea is mighty good.

I've never even heard of it  :-[

Still, looks cool. I'm going to check it out this weekend.

I ordered a copy of this some days ago, just got to wait for it to end up on this side of the ocean. I never had a chance to actually see any of Day of Chaos before I got Fourth Faction.

Other Reviews / Re: IDW JUDGE DREDD G/N

Over here they've sold fine, at least in my local shop. I only bought a couple of issues though, just got the TPB digitally when it came out. I got two friends who've been keeping up with it and weren't even Dredd fans to begin with.

That being said I do prefer IDW Year One over the IDW Dredd, but I think it has time to develop.

I would be interested in seeing those too one day. For my part I'm a digital subscriber since paper copies of 2000AD aren't easily available in the states. Helps me keep down clutter too I guess. Not that Tharg's Mighty Organ inconveniences me, just that my bookshelf is not a fitting place for them.

Prog / Re: Prog 1832: Hitman in Hiding

I found it a good read, though I felt for some reason Stickleback was shorter than the others. I don't know why since it's the same amount of pages. Gunheadz was fun while it lasted.

I only started with 2000 AD late last year so I've never had experience with Sinister Dexter so I can't compare it with anything. It was nice how they took his wetworks request seriously though.

It was a pretty solid prog, I think they've set up the next Dredd arc pretty well. Dandridge, Stickleback, and Zombo are continuing along fine in their own arcs. The new 3hriller is cool, I like the premise with the Gunheads. The reveal at the end was a pretty nice jarring element considering how they tried to emphasize the normality in the other panels.

News / Re: 2013 Free Comic Book Day 2000 AD

I was busy with work unfortunately, so by the time I dropped by the local shop they only had some Walking Dead FCBD issues, nothing else unfortunately. I wasn't expecting to see much left anyways, but I guess a good thing is that the 2000 AD one did leap out to someone and they got it. Either that or there's some closeted Dredd fan around here I'm not aware of.

Bit late reading this, but I won't clog up the page with what's been said already. Dredd is developing well, I liked Dandridge's bit with the guy having plans on neatly labeled VHS's, and I feel bad that the Ghostship is ending next prog.

Stickleback and Zombo were alright, I liked the last panel in Stickleback too.

Enjoyed the prog. Its got me interested to see where the Dredd storyline goes and I liked the 3hriller's setting.

On a side note, do I have to be cleared to post anywhere but here and the classifieds? I promise I'm not a Spawnsybot

Yes, just put in a few more posts for good measure then start making some noise, someone'll usually come by and upgrade your privileges. This precaution isn't so much for spambots as it is for trolls and the like.

Or maybe you'll be lucky and one of the board admins will clear you right now.

I'm interested to see where they take the Dredd story. I liked the other strips too, especially the 3hriller Survival Geeks. I want to see where Zombo's headed, though I liked their little Beatles gag.

Heh, I liked this bit, especially the sign Wilye Coyote is holding:

this was pretty good too

I will always remember the whole thumbs up and thumbs down routine he did with Gene Siskel (who also coincidentally died of cancer), it's been immortalized in popular culture too. Roeper is still around though from that show, I think.

Welcome to the forums. Are you a recent newcomer to 2000AD or have you been around before?
