I started around 100, but only have progs from about 200 onwards. Stopped as a regular reader about 600 came back with Prog 2000.

Is it real gold?

"Issue 4 had 50% reprint material from the first two issues."

They've run out of material already? Wow.

How much cheaper was this 50% reprint edition?

Suggestions / Re: Measure the Future Shock stack...

No-one should be intimidated by the backlog of submissions when sending in their Future Shocks. If your story is as good as you can make it then send it in. Don't worry about how many others you're up against.
The 'most popular reasons for rejection' might be interesting to see, but I think Tharg's writing guidelines are pretty comprehensive. Aspiring scriptdroids would be better off adhering to _all_ the guidelines, rather than paying particular attention to whatever is currently the commonest mistake.

The scriptdroids yahoogroup is a good resource for advice and shared information.

General / Subscribers - late prog
23 April, 2002, 03:43:37 PM
Rather than the odd person ringing the subs line to complain about their late prog, or the occasional angry post here, I have done a poll, which should present our experiences in a more digestible way. Hopefully this will be more useful to the subs people in sorting it out.

Chin up, Milo. If I find them you can have them once they've been scanned. Just out of interest, did you work on either of these strips?

'The day the garden stood still'

Hi Jenny,
if you have one or two issues with McMahon art in I'd love to borrow them. You could send me your postal address via my sendmail page (using the link below), then I can send you a cheque for postage and an address to post them to.

McMahon drew over 150 pages of strip for Sonic and about 40 covers, so any of the following would be great (ideally a strip and a cover):
Issues featuring strip and cover art:
104, 107, 112, 117, 121, 124, 134, 138, 140, 142, 148, 150, 151, 159, 163, 166, 169
Issues featuring strip art only:
97-99, 101, 102, 109, 110, 118, 131
Issues featuring cover art only:
113-116, 119, 126, 127, 128, 133, 135, 137, 139, 141, 143, 144, 146, 147, 149, 152-157, 160

Thanks!

Speaking of Sonic the Comic, does anyone have copies with Sonic or Tails strips drawn by Mike McMahon that they'd be prepared to sell (or lend for scanning)?

It's a bit of a gap on the McMahon website at the moment.

cheers,
