I have the complete run of Bolland's work on Judge Dredd, signed currently up on ebay.  Couple of other things as well, and I'm going to put some more stuff up, including some Eagle Judge Dredd that comes straight from Bolland's personal collection (with certificate of authenticity).

Thanks for taking a look!

Classifieds / Couple of unusual JD things
25 January, 2015, 08:39:51 PM
Hey there,

Having a bit of a clear out and I'm looking to get rid of a couple of things.  I'm planning on offering these on ebay, but figured I'd see if there was any interest here first.

Firstly, I'll list the unusual things:
1) The complete Eagle 1985 6 issue run of 2000 AD Monthly.  This item comes from Brian Bolland's personal collection, and comes with a certificate to that effect.
2) Judge Dredd the complete Brian Bolland, signed by Brian Bolland.
3) Walking Dead's Negan black and white, Skybound exclusive action figure.  Got it through the Humble Bundle.

More mundanely, I have:
1) Judge Dredd Case File 1 through 4
2) 2000AD issues 500 - 700
3) Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Limited Edition Xbox 360, in unsealed but mint condition.

Any interest, just let me know.

Thanks,
Chris

Dear lord, how long did all that take you to list!

I couldn't possibly list that many comics, I think I'd go mad!

I might send you a PM... :P

2000AD history is always fascinating, so I'm looking forward to this.  Back in 2007 we had Futureshock on Radio 4 (with Phill Jupitus*) and that had some hugely entertaining stuff in it; the O'Neill censorship bits were great fun (robo-guts and synthi-blood were okay with the management).

*I may have a copy of this kicking around if someone is desperate for it.

I'm up for a recording of this, if it's not too much trouble.

Any one interested in trading the digital codes that Marvel and DC have been giving out when you buy a hardcopy recently?

Been subbed (this time round) since 2006 and I'd say that in all that time:

Had only one or maybe two issues fail to arrive

Had the prog and Meg arrive on the Saturday morning 90% of the time

As far as I can remember never recieved a damaged prog or Meg

So yeah, I'd say it's a brilliant service overall. Remember you can set up a standing order to pay monthly if you don't want to pay out the full amount upfront.

Do it, man.

Actually, I can't find a monthly subscription anywhere on the shop :/

Love to subscribe, but I'd have trouble explaining the missing £165 to the other half if I subscribed annually.

Help! / Re: London Collecting Tips...

As an update, for anyone else in the area.

Orbital are good, plenty of older 2000AD.  Haven't found the service so great, not bad, just not great.

Gosh! on the other hand, fantastic!  Went in, had a chat to the guy downstairs, got plenty of 2000AD and some Crisis! (Including #1) for 50p each!

Went into Orbital Comics Leicester Square and picked up my copy at lunch time!

Off Topic / Re: Google Reader being retired

It doesn't make them any money, so it was always likely that they'd end it one day.

If you're migrating to something new, try Feedly.  It pulls your current Google Reader subscriptions, and promises to keep working after Greader goes down for good.

Though I'd be more than happy to pay shipping costs if you wouldn't mind sending them.
