Hi all
Just a little bit of an introduction...
I started reading 2000AD in the 500s I guess (I was around 11/12 at the time). Remember loving Bad Company, Slaine, etc. Read till around Prog 1030, and during that time collected back issues with a religious zeal! Then had a mad moment of "grown-upness" when I needed money more than thrill power (or so I foolishly believed) and I stopped reading and sold the lot (Progs 2 - 1030, with only about 120 omissions) for £500! In the meantime I picked up and dropped a few american comics. Pah!
Picked it up again at Prog 1776 and must say I'm loving it again! Nostalgia! And new thrills! Now delivered electronically to my laptop! The Future is here!
Loving Dredd (of course), and the Savage reboot is amazing! Still hate Flesh (always did), and not impressed with Red Seas, but these are minor flies in an awesome ointment
All hail Tharg! I shall never stray again.
