I would swap parliaments around so Westminster moved to Holyrood and Holyrood moved to Westminster.

Would make London a lot nicer.

Pop over to 'get something out of the car', leave something on the driver's seat/steering wheel/bit of tape on the door?

I always interpreted it as it was hiding there all along but I have always loved that question over the 'bugs.

I think once you allow that mentality too much leeway, it kicks you headfirst down a slippery slope, greased with market research, focus groups and target demographics, that leads to the bland state of current sci-fi cinema.

When you start cutting out the swears, you'll take a look at the sex, and then the violence and then you're left with... not much. Plus Guardians is set in the 'present' too.

I understand your point of course, I just think broadening the potential audience isn't worth losing anything, if that thing is even just a subliminal part of what makes your actual audience love your film/book/comic/whatever.

1. Team Resyk
2. Stu101 - Dredd 2
3. judgerufian - The Hoop Ladies (love how you've mimicked the style)

HM Pete Wells "Meet the Team" (very insightful look at how all the shooty stabby people would inevitably interact)

Trees by Warren Ellis

Enjoyably weird idea done with the usual panache and some stylistic artwork. Would fit in a prog if it wasn't a bit too decompressed with its (excellent) world building

I'm happy there was swearing. I am against the whole move towards PG only movies and given the amount of violence and risque humour, I think its better to give a stronger movie with some punchy curse-words than start neutering the most harmless bits.

Last two episodes were great. Much better than the books. Though the vampire hunter seems to forget that he's fighting vampires - and he's an old man - when it's convenient for drama.

QuoteI'm not really a bit fan of horror or willie-giving shows in general but this is fun enough to subvert the shivers

I think I know what bit you mean and I think that was Ripley carrying it and then putting it down.
