Books & Comics / Re: Comics and libraries

Our library here in Portland Maine has tons of comics, maybe more than 1000 trades & hardcovers. They even have a selection of beat up Titan Judge Dredd collections.

General / Megazine question.
17 May, 2013, 03:22:45 PM
Is there a list of upcoming reprints & what issue of the Megazine they'll be included with? I hate that the meg is $11 when I really only want to read the Dredd strips. Knowing the reprint would soften the blow.

Thanks guys. I have all the color case files, but don't want to wait another 15 years to read the 1 offs. Hopefully they'll reprint them sooner if the demand is there.

General / Dredd collections question
14 May, 2013, 01:15:31 AM
I'm an American who's been picking up Dredd collections for about a year & I've noticed that the newer trades jump around quite a bit. (Origin, Tour of Duty, Day of Chaos) Do the stories that are left out get reprinted?

Damn fine version.

I want Bowie to record this version with Hadfield on guitar.

I'm guessing they reprinted the Walter strips in the free issue because most readers wouldn't like paying for the Walter strips.

I picked up IDW's Free Comic Book Day offering. Good modern coloring, but I still can't get used to Anderson being blonde. She was a redhead in the Eagle comics reprints in the 80's & a redhead in Judgment on Gotham.

I'm somewhat in the same boat. I was introduced to 2000AD through the Eagle color reprints here in America, bought 2000AD for a few years and lost track of it just after Judgment Day. I loved the Eagle reprints of Stainless Steel Rat, Strontium Dog, & Nemesis the Warlock. Do they have case files type collection of Strontium Dog? What are the great non Dredd strips from 95 til now?

For the OP, pick up copies of the Pit, Brothers in Blood, Origin, Tour of Duty, & Day of Chaos. All great Dredd stories.

I'd love to see a 2000 AD anthology program. 11 minutes of Dredd 11 minutes of another feature.

Thanks all. I wondered what the progs in the 2000s were.

Does the Christmas prog replace one of the 52 weekly progs or are there 53 progs a year?
