I've got the game for the PC and it's pretty good, no sign of Kurt Russell though.

That could be how the Forest of Cheem in Doctor Who started off.

Does anyone remember what those crisps were that had an advert with a guy singing "They're coming to take them away, ha-ha" and everyone was nicking his crisps ? Were they called Wickerworks or something ? Whatever happened to those minty green creme eggs ?

I've seen some really heated debates on message boards, but this one definitely takes the biscuit...

You can't beat a good old custard cream though. Does anyone remember those Return Of The Jedi biscuits that you could get around the time the film was released. IIRC they had a sort of minty taste.

There was a Dredd/Cybermen crossover a couple of years ago, IIRC it was called Lost In Cyberspace and drawn by Ian Gibson.

"I don't begrudge the old guard sticking with their old properties as long as they're doing them as well as they do."

What he said.

General / Re: Can you defeat the Rogue Troop...

How's about doing a reboot from the end of the last GFD episode, and have the Norts and Southers fighting the Aliens with their beamers, massive weapons of destruction, and whatever other sinister stuff they may have up their sleeve. Give Rogue a supporting cast of characters from both sides who he has to keep from killing each other while they fight off the evil alien scum. Throw in betrayal on both sides, a bit of romance and some never-before-seen parts of Nu Earth and possibly beyond, and Bob's Yer Uncle !
I hated the 'Hit' storyline, especially the ending, and missed most of Friday's tenure up to the Karvanu stuff and I also missed that 'Scavenger Of Souls' thingy too so if we forget all that stuff happened, then perhaps Rogue can have a new lease of life and some decent story arcs which can actually go somewhere.

Space - Spiders
Pulp - Different Class
Basement Jaxx - ???? (That one with the gorilla on the cover)
Prodigy - Music For The Jilted Generation
Pink - ???? (That one with her lying across the cover)
The Strokes - Is This It ?
The Darkness - Permission To Land ("Get your hands offa my woman, muthafuuuuuuuuuuuckaaaaaaaaaaaaa !"
Queen - Greatest Hits I,II & III
Madness - One Step Beyond

Space would be my favourite band if they'd hurry up and release their new album !!!! I heard some of the songs from it when they played at Barfly in Glasgow last year, 'tis very different from their previous stuff, much better and more mature.
