Watched the 1st twenty minutes then turned off and watched the latest Strain. May return if bored one night, but it was a bit cringeworthy to me. I know people will say it is so bad it is good, but I am not sure if I can invest any of my already limited TV / movie watching time to something like this.

Saw episode 10 myself last night and thought it was dark but very good. Loving how this story is playing out, as have not read any of the books. Going in a lot darker and larger scale than I thought it would do. Looking forward to see where this goes over the remainder of this series and into the second series.

Great stuff coming in, chaps. Looking forward to seeing more.

I've got three ideas. Which to do, I wonder?

Perhaps you should try cycling through each of the ideas in your head. This may start a chain of events to allow you to create your masterpiece, make sure you are not to tyred though otherwise you may wheely spoil your effort.  :D

Don't worry I have already got my coat and am walking out of the building  :-[

Some cracking entries there guys. Fingers crossed I will be able to post my entry up in next few days. Have already done 1 version which is ready to post but upon viewing the standard of entries already posted I am trying to do a second pic.

Edge of Tomorrow

Really good. Can't breath. Guns. Too excited. Aliens. War. Time-shit. Sci-fi-gasm. Unnnnn. Spent.

Watched on Saturday and also enjoyed immensely, a proper tidy sci-fi action film.
Maybe did not enjoy to the extent you did though.  ;)

First Episode VII footage.

Greenham Common? Wouldn't be the first time that site's been besieged by folk with bad hair, no fashion sense, and some ideas considered odd by mainstream society:

QuoteGAMA was a maximum security QRA (Quick Reaction Alert) area with 6 large above ground shelters in which fully operational cruise missiles were stored.

These shelters were specially designed and constructed to protect the GLCMs and crews against nuclear and conventional strikes. They were about 10 m high, with a reinforced 2 m thick concrete ceiling. Below was a massive titanium plate, 3 m of sand and a reinforced concrete plate. The shelters were completely covered with tons of clay. Each shelter was equipped with three hydraulic nuclear blast proof doors at both ends to assure a quick entry or exit. They were designed to withstand the blast of an air-bursting nuclear explosion above the base or a direct hit from a 2,500 lb (1,100 kg) conventional bomb ...

... and are capable of breaking the legs of elderly film stars. Those crazy lesbians were right - that base is a fucking danger.

Best post ever!

ThryllSeekyr - You ought to wait for Mimikeke to chip in as I am sure I read previously somewhere that she was involved in the development of this. I am sure she can answer your concerns regarding the features you miss!  :D

Carrying on the Man-Cave theme from earlier. I am finally in the process of getting together my own mini man-cave. After much sorting and shifting I have finally cleared out the under the stairs room (Oft referred to as the Harry Potter room!). I now have a small computer desk set up in there with PC, 24" monitor graphics tablet, USB fan, speakers headphones etc to allow me to turn on and switch off.
Over the weekend I will install some floating shelves to store some of the jewels of my very small collection. Also in there are some storage towers for holding the rest of my humble collection e.g. Old tooths, megazines, and lots of 80s-90s failed startups (Toxic, Strip etc) and more
I think I will then, cash allowing, find myself a nice little bit of original art to display on the wall and inspire me when I am doodling away!
It may be small but it will be mine!!

Always forget about looking at this thread but always enjoy reading the fantastic stories when I do. Another sterling effort from all entrants!
Anyway without further ado....

1 - Eamonn1961 - White Giant.
2 - Smiffy - Pest Control.
3 - JudgeRufian - The Prize Winners.

Well done all!

If you've not seen them, these are fantastic http://frenden.com/post/41066125217/manga-studio-5-brushes Frendens Manga studio brushes. So much nicer than the standard ones and way better than anything I could come up with myself while tinkering with the settings.  ;)

Hi Darren, have just been looking at those Frenden brushes and they look great and I want to buy them, but can you tell me if I am being stupid. The link takes me to a brush pack plus their description, containing pencil ink and paint brushes, but when you click on buy now the link is broken. Going directly to the shop I and I am not able to see this brush pack anywhere only seperate ones fro ink, pencil, paint etc??
If no ideas then I will contact Frenden direct, Cheers! :)

These are currently only available in two or three 'test areas', as a way of testing the waters.

I cannot reveal exactly where those areas are but if you're in the future burial place of Richard III or reside at the confluence of the River Test and River Itchen, you might want to keep an eye out. Or plan a day trip if not.

Also worth noting that the series will include works not yet reprinted by us...

Molch-R will these 2 areas expand to more over the next week or so, or will it only be sold in these 2 locations and on-line via subscription??
