Knew Zenith would appear imminently...
Thing is I haven't read the early stuff since the 80's (just phase 4 on a slog recently) but remember a Morrison/Yeowell signing at FP Glasgow at the time. My abiding memory is that one wore a black shirt, the other looked ridiculously similar, but with polka dots. Back then, that kind of shit was important. Hm, fashion. No interest in buying reprints, will re-read the progs in my own good time, fank-yew-very-much  ;)

Enjoying the 'casts Eamonn, midway through Scarlet Traces. Adore d'Israeli and will pick up the rest when Rebellion reprint those. Keep up the excellent work, etc  :)

Suggestions / Re: New Logo for prog 2000?
04 September, 2016, 12:51:29 AM
It's not just that the logo is relatively new, we were treated online to variants as the droids compared options and reasoning behind spacing, barcode, etc. The prospect of Tharg juggling prog 2000AD content and also deciding to rejig the logo is about nil*

Never looked at the zeroes and thought they resembled anything else.

* I said 'about'. He could.

Well done to the winners and especially CFM whose efforts are always appreciated.

No issue with your interesting take on recent events, Jacqusie. I personally enjoyed the re-juve episode, it was logical and overdue (I've read the Hachette Trifecta this week - Dredd looks like a doddery corpse in appearance (though not in action)). The recent split-mag 'epic' felt all over the place to me and I read much of it feeling that I was missing key points, even more than normal...! As a consequence, it did nothing for me.

Off Topic / Re: The Political Thread

As said, the UK choosing - in this wonderfully unfettered position it will inhabit shortly - to become a tax haven* would be utterly pointless. The Revenue would then find people very reluctant to file their own tax returns as normal. Me included.

* 'Haven'... as if they're not vital to making societies work. Sigh.

And watch as the report droid has a complete meltdown!   :o

Start again.
Factor in Mek-Quake melting down repro droids for parts and building the next one.
At least one zombie apocalypse in the next 30 years should affect distribution channels.
Etc....

Prog 1699, eh?
That puts more meat on the - rejuvenated - bones of the argument, pleasingly.
Excellent work, Frank.

All that said, The Black Monday Murders is a good romp and I'd recommend it. He's definitely still the Conspiracy Guy though  :)

Sure, why not.

Happened to spend Saturday in Edinburgh, first ever taste of that Festival too. Scotland in summer can be grand.

I would absolutely buy it as this is my favourite strip in years. I think the artwork is unbelieveable, I hope we don't see his work inked and coloured by someone else as one of the letters in the Meg requested. It's perfect as is.

Certainly is.
Must have missed that letter. Colour it in??!!!!   :| You're allowed b & w outside of adult (titter) colouring books...

It bugs me when long-term posters change names - who are you?

Indeed.

Disaster 1990 is fine in my eyes.
Designed for weekly episodes read by children, it's great. Certainly not 'poor'.
