Has anyone who started their subscription at issue 2 received them?

I've been able to pick up the first 4 from WH Smith in one of the test areas. Not seen 5 though. 

I signed up to subscribe as well, but other than my initial subscription confirmation letter I've not heard a sausage from them. I phoned to find out what was happening and was told there was 'a problem with the first issue'. 

It certainly seems like people are being given various different stories and communication is pretty patchy.  It'd be nice to get some sort of definitive confirmation as to what's happening (or not) with this.

Number 4's in the shops today as well...

Huzzah! Does that mean the shops won't get parts three and four due to the uptake online securing the series!

I guess this is probably Nemesis the Warlock.  I seem to remember that in the first strip all you saw was the Blitzspear, which actually turned out to be a living creature.  And Nemesis seemed to spend a fair bit of time saying 'Credo'.

Just following up my offer to be a referee, I've dealt with Martin twice in the last year and been very happy with the outcome. 

On each occasion, we exchanged PMs and once we'd settled on a price I sent him a cheque in the post and shortly thereafter received the happy sound of my postie popping progs through the letterbox.  They were well packaged, in good nick and now sit happily in my collection.

I signed up at the back end of last week and my number's in the low 100s.  I don't know how they'll define the success of their trial but it feels like there aren't that many of us signed up.

The 2nd one's been released in Leicestershire now too and the first one's vanished from the shops.  Fingers crossed the trial runs are deemed to be a success!

I think I saw somewhere in this thread that they're only trialing them in a couple of areas at the moment.  Leciestershire's one I'm guessing (as that's where I got mine) and I think round Southampton (?) may be the other.

Issue 2, Mechanismo, is out in the wild (as I like to call my local branch of Martins Newsagents!)

Whereabouts are you based?  I picked up Issue 1 in WhSmith in deepest darkest Melton Mowbray but not seen issue 2 yet.  I'm afraid I have to say they weren't exactly flying off the shelves despite the enticing cover price.

He's getting royally tonked by the be-corseted one.  I tried to drum up some votes for Dredd at work but it just led to Kirk getting even more.  So called friends.....
