I remember when I first say the previes for EFLA. At that time I hadn't seen EFNY yet. I read up on it and some of the fan reaction to it and its cult film status. So I went on a Muliti State Hunt to find a copy of this movie. Finally tracked down a worn out old home made copy on VHS. Watched the movie and fell in love with it. It now ranks up there among my Personal Favs. So I was really looking forward to LA when it came out. I saw the movie. And the first thing that popped out of my mouth as the end credits rolled ( I literally screamed this out loud in the theater) ITS THE SAME (@$%^$@#F#)ING MOVIE!!!!!!!
Just that it was with the budget that Carpenter WISHED he could have had on the first.
It had its moments but it was sad to see how far Carpenter had fallen since his golden days of movie making.

and yes I did buy the movie on dvd when it came out....

The American TV series Law and Order S.V.U. or any similar tv programe. Ever watched said prog and at some point wished a rather Angry man wearing a helmet and odd shoulder accruements would suddenly appear and take CHARGE of the show?

I miss the Misfits of Science. A show that had great potential but no good carry thru.

they have these big dog type creatures and some Predators are bigger than others.   ::)

After having read some of the Predator Novels. I half expected to see them remark on how the "Bigger Preds" were the  Female of the species.   A bit of the stretch but I would have found it interesting.

Scud is a great read. One of the most quirky, imaginative and TOTALLY Wacked out Comic book series every written.
