I genuinely can't decide. Malak Brood is one of the best 2000AD villains ever and Incident Mayger Minor has a nice charm to it. And B Boots has made a very good case for it.

Hmmm.

So let's go with Boots. I prefer Western Stront to space wizards Stront, so Incident gets my vote.

It's The Rammy for me, James.

Blood Moon has a very sad moment when
Mardi blows herself up.
It also feels like an important story.

But I'm going for the Mork Whiperer.Because it's more fun.

And it is "Whisperer isn't it?

Don't have a great recollection of either of these. I tend not to like stories where the protagonists are trapped in a series of rooms or worlds, even if it is just a plot device. Or should that be because it's a plot device?

So I'm going for Shaggy Dog Story.

The Doc Quince Case.

It's a nailed on classic and really shows Johnny's character and moral values- he'd rather do the right thing than carry out the job. Even if that means putting himself in danger and not getting paid (he's mean to be a bounty hunter for hire after all).

JiH has always felt different to other Stront stories. And not in a good way.

So I'm going for Outlaw.

I would have thought Judgement Day was a Dredd story, not a Strontium Dog one. Anyway regardless of that, it's got to be Rage.

Ya know what I'm going to let myself off here. Had a quick look and the list here is correct. The error was I linked to an (obviously) incorrect image. So that should be...

Strontium Dog: Annual 1982 - more info

Can't find a better linkie BUT as I recall this is the one printed in blue (was it???) ink with a little gremlin type fella - its been a while.

Looking at my Starlord list, based on Funt Solo's list - which I'm treating as my definitive source I think I got it covered... watch me make another mistake now!

Hmmm still think Funfair of Fear from Starlord annual 1980 is missing and I'm voting for it.

Forbrydelsen....sorry not that one, rather The Killing.

The Galaxy Killers was a weird one for me personally as I missed the resolution of the cliff hanger when Johnny and Wulf were fighting and only read it decades later when it was reprinted in the Megazine.

For me Slavers is the better story.

And there are other Stront stories in Starlord annuals, which you haven't listed under the Starlord section...

Sorry, I know it's hard to keep track of everything.

Can you let me know what I've missed???

It's tricky.

The there were Starlord Annuals in 1980, 1981 and 1982.

I only own the 1980 and 1982 ones.

The stories I remember are the one you listed for 1982 annual and the Brendan McCarthy drawn one I mentioned. Apologies but I don't have it to hand so can't confirm what it is called other than my recollection of "Carnival of Fear" but it most be from the 1980 annual I guess.

Barney shows the three Starlord annuals but unless I'm missing it, doesn't seem to list the contents. I assume the 1981 annual has a Stront story but I have no details. I seem to recall they are in the Stront files, but I don't own them.

Is that all of them? I was under the impression there were more including a Starlord annual one drawn by Brendan McCarthy (Carnival of Fear?). Plus possibly another Starlord annual story.

Godamnit don't you lot hang onto my every word - when I speak thou shall listen! The Starlord stuff is the Starlord region (and all ready for a couple of weeks time).

Whether this is all ... well I hope so... gulp...

Oh ok, but the reason I asked is the the first story listed is from a Starlord annual.

ARRRRHHH - so it is. That's me being a dumbass and getting things wrong! I'll amend later... SORRY!
