I'd like to agree some where like the Front Bar in the Europa or the Crown Bar. They are near bus nodes, so when everyone arrives they'd only have a minute or so's walk to reach the venue. Z

Hi guys and gals, I've been thinking of having a once monthly get together of local squax in order to discuss the previous months progs, Meg and other matters 2000AD.
We could all meet at a suitable central venue in Belfast pub/coffee shop dependant on choice.
Just putting it out there for suggestions? Z

A computer programme called 'Eugene Goostman' developed by Vladimir Veselov and Eugene Demechenko convinced 33% of Judges at a Royal Society demonstration that it was. 13 year old boy. This is the first machine 'intelligence' to pass the Turing test. Z

There is a Chinese supermarket at the bottom of Agincourt avenue (I think); I'll give them a ring. If not I have some local Chinese friends who may know. Cheers Z

:lol:Well Alaska, would have been a component political entity of the Federal USA....I suppose it'd be the same as claiming Donegal as part of the UK. I encountered the issue of Canada in the Map I'm currently working on. All I can think of is after the chaos of the Booth war, Mega City One incorporated the conurbation in south Ontario and over the St Lawrence canal, possibly as a centralised Canadian administration ceased to exist. The NW Hab zone does seem to fit best on what would have been soverign Canadian territory. Z

As posted before, put it in a bowl in a prominent place. Smoothie maker is also a good idea. Terrible to waste good food when half the world hasnt the clothes that'd cover them (not a personal criticism btw). I looked up Trouts Canadian dish. Chips, gravy and cheese curds.....I'd say you'd either love or hate that one. Z

My apologies for the omissions, I would never omitt my favourite 2000ad writer (the Smith droid) by design; nor for that matter Mr Carroll who is revelatory in the latest Dredd story. In respect of Pye Parr, I am fully behind him in his tentative steps at a new and better prog logo outlay. As for Steve Cook, where do we begin!! Z

It was good fare all in all, the Dredd story was well drawn and well told, the rest were of a similar pattern, the Orlok story stood out as well. The new talent took a pretty good stab at some old staples (not Greg). Z
