Another short series would be great.

Mortis alone is just waiting for a rescue team for him to bring a whole world of technologically advanced aliens to true justice (!!)  That could be a great Mortis spin off, he does seem to like technology and drinking.

You guys are nuts.  It's taken a group of characters that had more potential than has ever actually been explored, and has reinvigorated them. If you don't see it, to each their own, but it's a high spot for me i tells ya.

I'm with this, it's fleshing out the dark judges who to date have only ever appeared as cardboard cutouts in the background to Death. This is giving them some character ! Dave Kendall's take on Mortis is outstanding, his artwork is almost Cronenberg.

I suspect it's not the scan. I'm pretty certain that digital edition is exported from the same InDesign file as the print version, which means that, for some reason, InDesign is pulling in the low-res proxy of the art, rather than the high-res final version.

Yeah, it's the PDF that's definitely only 2-color where as the previous issues ( meg 362 ) it 8-bit monochrome. The JPG's in the CBZ are better at least, 8-bit mono, but they're a little on the low res side @1447 x 1902.

Already done :)

It'd be nice if the digital included the highest res they had, especially for something as detailed as Winslade's art.

Is it just me... or is some of the scanning in the digital version of the megazine 363 just really bad ?
I'm looking at Lawless and the scanning of the art looks like a low res line-art scan from a fax of a bad photocopy it's just really grainy, doesn't really do Phil Winslade's art much justice. Is this typical of the quality of the digital version ?

A reminder for anyone attending this year's San Diego Comic-Con: the 2000AD Zarjaz Hour is taking place on Thursday at 14:00, in room 29A.

Made it to my first 2000AD panel, it was a blast and the dancing Judge Fear was truly a sight to behold (!) I hope someone has a vid of that.

It was fun to meet other judges and wander around as Koburn for 3 days ;)
