Okay, scuzzpucks....

after careful thought we've decided not to make this the art comp tie in, that'll be the NEXT comp.

Keep the entries coming though, still got til the end of the month.

So how about digital subscribers getting the option of having completed story arcs condensed into one download as a bonus?

I have no idea how possible this is, or if they already do it, but if I was a digital subscriber I would absolutely love it.

For example, you have bought a digital copy from 2000AD of every episode of Survival Geeks, so you get a bonus download containing just that strip for an easy re read through.

Should be off to the midnight showing, will pen a review on Friday.

Reviews have been all over the place, indicating this might be a real Marmite movie. I want to like it, but then again I want to like all comic based films.

Okay, if it's filth ya want (and let's see someone illustrate THIS):

On routine patrol in the city,
Dredd saw a girl who has so pretty
He said "Abstinence be damned"
As he repeatedly rammed,
His nightstick between her pert titties

I feel so ashamed...

Shite far as the eye can see
Cause limericks are easy as pee
But hold on you loons
Don't come way to soon
Remember, you're limited to three...

Greetings and contrafibulations, Hoomin Beans,

I've had a little break after the last comp, and thought it might be fun to have a little fun in the sun for August.

So here's the deal, daddio...

Write a limerick about a 2000AD character, any of the buggers you like, and we'll have a vote for the best. As usual, the top scorers will receive a 2000AD Graphic Novel thanks to the brilliant bods at Rebellion.

In addition, we will use the entries as the basis for a future ART COMP, where the art droids will have to illustrate an entry of their choice.

THERE IS AN ENTRY CAP OF THREE LIMERICKS. This is so I don't want to kill you all by the end of the month... any more than usual, anyway.

So get scribbling and you have until the end of August.

Ta muchly

Fun without being in any way awesome.

Nice script (apart from the baddie) and I agree Jaylah was a great character.

Into Darkness was pants because after taking a whole movie to say "Hey! We're an alternate timeline and can do what we want" they then went ahead and botched the Khan story completely. That movie should have been all about the Klingons

Lotta hate and stupidity out there. Plus lots of negative online reviews from people who haven't seen it.

I'd say it's suitable for eight and over myself, but obviously it depends on the kid.

For all I know, kids these days might be unflappable, but even when it's being a bit scary it's good fun.
