Ah sorry for double-threading!

Is the Rebellion ID thing fully functional yet? When I enter the Rebellion portal it gives me a list of previous downloads but you can't actually download them.

If you subscribe through the Android app, how do you later download the CBR from the web store to add to your digital collection? I can see all of my previous digital purchases to view in the app but can't find where I would redownload them in the web store so I'm concerned I wouldn't be able to get the progs like that if I subscribed. I like having actual soft copies of everything rather than just relying on the app..

Hope that makes sense!

General / ANDROID APP IS HERE!

Apologies if there is already a thread for this.. but I can't seem to find one.

Just downloaded me the Android app, and I'm thinking about after my physical sub runs out, going fully digital.

Does anyone know whether if you download (or subscribe) via the Android app, you are then able to download the CBR/CBZ on your computer so you have a soft copy of it outside of the app? I don't like the idea of only being able to view it using the app and not being able to add it to my digital collection!

Any help appreciated :)

Prog / Re: Prog 2015

Bloody love Jaegir. Highlight of the special for me. Another series asap please! Closely followed by that Staples artwork on Dredd. Tasty.

The Order seems a little familiar to the last fantasy werewolf series, although I can't say I was expecting
that robot helmet
. I'm not into the fantasy strips as much but it kept my interest.

Elsewhere, pretty solid strips all round. Made me excited for the next prog.. which then dropped through my letterbox yesterday! Early January thrills!

What was actually going on in Savage? Were the British and Volgans working together on these Grinder soldiers? I got a bit confused by the dialogue..

I genuinely enjoy Reaper - and even liked the last series. I wasn't on board for the first so I'm hoping it will be collected at some point - I might be in a minority here though.

I just really like the premise, and although the artwork is sometimes hit and miss, I like how different it is to everything else I'm reading. A Reaper film would be at least a watchable sci-fi thriller!

Prog / Re: Prog 1907 - Dog Fight

Got a spare moment so I thought I'd do a quick review that probably won't add much of interest but hey ho!

Dredd - Awesome stuff - so much dialogue but finding it occasionally difficult to keep up with all the name dropping - i.e. whether we are supposed to know the characters yet or not. There's a lot going on.. and it's building towards something special.

Stickleback - Although there are complexities and back stories here, it's nice that I am able to follow the main storyline fairly easily now.. was struggling with distinguishing some characters a few progs back but I think I'm back on track!

Greysuits - Now, I've not read any previous Greysuit - but this week did seem fairly anti-climatic and obvious. Others say that it's pretty much a repeat of a previous storyline.. I enjoyed the first few episodes but this is going to have to pick up next prog I think.

Ichabod - As I said previously... huh? Love the premise, like the artwork.. but can't really tell what's going on now tbh. When I think I've got the jist, something else happens. Meta-tastic. I'd like to read this all in one. Epic horse though..

Kingdom - I've slagged this off previously - I still don't like the weird dialect used throughout but at least the storyline has moved slightly so I enjoyed it this week.

Pretty decent - waiting for Prog 2015 though!

I'm an Android user and use 'Perfect Viewer' for all my CBR, CBZ etc. It's never given me a problem - great customisable interface and nice display of your "comics" on a digital shelf for browsing.

Never had any reason to change.. in fact I find myself reading a lot more digitally and am pondering with the idea of going fully digital... But what will I put on my real shelves then?!

Film & TV / Re: GOTHAM.

What's pissing me off most about it is the totally unbelievable motives of some of the characters. Penguin just seems to have no reason to murder a bunch of people in cold blood, when other moments he is a total wimp. Is that what penguin is supposed to be like? If so, he still annoys me.

Gordon can't also be the only good moralled person on the force..  I get that this is basically the point they are making but again it makes it seem unbelievable that everyone else is a grade A douche.

I'll give it a few more episodes. Hopefully it will stop irritating me because I want to like it so bad.

What did people think of Wytches #1 - live up to all of the hype? Whatever the case, Jock's artwork is awesome.

Southern Bastards #5 - Continuing this epic series. It was worth the wait between story arcs. More gritty tales from the South. Anyone not on this already should check out the first TPB.

Wild's End #2 - This is a really great little gem. Horrible death scenes juxtaposed on the cuddly appearance of the characters works epically.

Anyone reading Alex & Ada - recently caught up on this and loved it! I love anything with AI as a main theme and this gets it spot on. Very manga style artwork.

Too much to read!!

Argh I've been really looking forward to reading this for ages - a mate bought me the collected edition. I wish I didn't read some of your guys comments now!

From a quick flick through, the art looks a lot more European - more squidgy and colourful than I would be used to for Dredd - but wow, it's detailed.

I'll get on and read it now I think...

Other Reviews / Re: Winter Special

Pretty solid outing this, although due to the standalone nature of the specials, one-off Dredd stories always leave me feeling a little flat - but I guess this is simply due to the length of the strip and the amount of frames available for a situation to occur and then be resolved. Unless I'm missing something, there wasn't much more to the story than
a man possessed by a knife who Dredd then kills.
Great artwork and a good quick read though.

Rogue Trooper - Some great artwork on this too - creepy images. Agree with someone that said that Rogue would know better than to start touching a possibly booby trapped body but there we go. Having missed the Rogue Trooper from back in the day, this is some good stuff but not a patch on the more recent Jaegir.

Alienist - This actually wasn't a bad start. I'm not a Doctor Who fan so didn't click on the similarities so enjoyed this first outing. Not sure it will be a classic strip but interested for what is to come.

Terror Tale - Probably actually my favourite from this special. Horrible, horror ending - this is what a terror tale should be like.

Defoe - I was a fan of the last run of Defoe and this is a nice flashback to get some more background of the main protagonist. I wonder whether it would have been not great if you were a first time reader..

Anderson
- Nice artwork again (this special has been great for that). Pretty basic story but a nice little twist at the end.

So overall, pretty solidly worth the £3.50 but nothing that blew my mind! Not as strong as the current lineup in the prog..
