Also loved the Jong Jong Job and this new SD tale looks like it'll be another belter!

It amazes me that sometimes over 50% of current contents could be Black and White on random occurrences. I love black and white.

I wish we could have like a Black and White main Dredd strip, just randomly. For funzees.

What a good idea!

The cover's beautiful (standard one) and the main reason I bought it. The story is intriguing though and I'll be getting no. 2 despite the kids being rather grating and the art a bit muddy. Interesting to see where this is going..

I got quite excited when Brian Bolland said he wanted to do a new story for 2000 AD (not just a cover). It's been 35 years. Tharg, make it happen!

He said this on a convention panel a couple of years ago too and mentioned that he'd always been fond if the 'fatties' stories.

l second what you say Richard - Tharg make this happen!

Argh that size limit thing always gets me too!

Could the good people who host the forum look into removing that for the original art and commission threads? I don't know if it's possible so it's just an idea..

Loved the cover (the Bisley one's pretty good too) and overall liked the prog too.

Found Dredd pretty dark....and I don't know about anyone else but I was hoping that this Xmas prog would have an explanation about the horse.

Always good to see a bit of Redondo and to have SD back.

As for Bad Company, I've found reading the interpretations and ideas that forum members have put forward rather more interesting than the tale itself...

I already know I can't upload pictures properly, now it seems I can't even use the 'quote' function properly... there's really no hope  :-[

Yeah got mine and watched. Loved it.

You know what the main feeling it gave me was pride. Which is very silly, but yeah when it ended I felt pride again. I'm just a fan, have and had nothing to do with the comic (or film) on any level other than that and yet watching this I felt massive pride. I think it was just the fact that I was able to empathise with the celebration of something I really love with people who share many of my thoughts about it. Its certainly warts and all and doesn't hide away from the comics many problems but what primarily comes through is the massive affection and respect for what the comic gives us that is so utterly unique.

I know exactly what you mean! Very similar feelings when I watched it..

Even the wife quite enjoyed it. In particular, found Pat Mills was very entertaining!

Wonderful stuff.

Mine arrived today! (hopefully yours won't be too far behind MotS).

I'm trying to persuade the missus to watch it with me tonight but amazingly she's not keen :o

She thinks I spend rather too much time on this sort of thing already.

The fact that I've seen it already, at the BFI, so I know it's great, strengthens my argument that she should watch it, but rather supports her point too....

Great cover - would be great to have McCarthy back in the prog.. would a Dredd be too much to ask?

There'll be more McCarthy in (and on) the Prog in due course, I hear.  Dredd... yup.

Great news! Looking forward to that already!
