Bit confused by Backlash if it is the first volume of three given the credits. The credits running up to Jon Haward implies the volume finishes on Lust in the Dust in prog 1673.
Assuming it includes the Colin MacNeil stories from Mutants in Mega City One, Emphatically Evil and Backlash before covering the stories from Under New Management I make the page count around 260 which is too high for the series.
So the questions are, what stories will be dropped and what is going to fill the other 2 volumes given many of the stories from the Rebellion Backlash volume are missing? I don't see enough material for 2 more volumes in subsequent stories.
That said, great to see the non Wagner stories getting an outing at last.

I love launderettes. My wife still teases me about how amusing I apparently was trying to work out how to roll up her tights after they had been dried. I always find launderettes relaxing and often interesting places to hang out for a bit while your clothes dry.

Don't believe it does. Best Anderson tale for a while.

Solid Dredd and 18 pages of Lawless are worth six quid of anyone's money so Blunt, Sweary Vampires and SinDex are free!
Not sure if my logic holds up but I guess in a longwinded way I'm saying this month's Meg is even more of a bargain than usual.

Prog / Prog 1994: For the attenshun of Judge Dredd

Ave I just bagged the prog thread. Another fine issue with a curious development in Dredd. It looks like the alien Wagner finally got out of Johnny Alpha's head had infected PJ Maybe or something. No doubt all will be revealed.

Just received my latest batch. Just to clarify for those yet to get it, Half Life does include all the stories in the arc including Lucid which is lovely. A beautiful book and tribute to Arthur Ranson for under a tenner! Also it saves me getting Psi Files 5 as I struggle a little with Boo Cook's art and while Dave Taylors was great the story wasn't.
Art of Taxidermy is a nice volume. The Sardini stories are classic Tooth fare but I agree that the supporting stories might have been more interesting had they gone the sports/pastimes route than death etc. Still we might get one yet to include Citizen Snork and some suitable Simp stories, and again the book is stunning value for money.

Suggestions / Re: Fay Dalton can't get work in comics

Picked up the Folio Society edition of Casino Royale recently as illustrated by the redoubtable Fay Dalton. Lovely stuff.

Hope to get the next two within the next week. Questions are what is in the Taxidermist volume other than Sardini and Darren Dead (leaves 20 to 40 pages short on normal count) and will Half Life include Lucid which pushes the page count but should be in there and felt a bit odd stopping short of it in Psi Files 4?

I get what you say Dr X but the kind words from forumites help make things sort of okay. Truth is, I am very happy with my lot, I have a wonderful wife and a strapping son and feel truly blessed. It was just a bit of a kick in the teeth the other day which I felt a need to say out loud so to speak but life is actually good.

Much like Mike McMahon seemingly progressively channelling Pablo Picasso throughout his career.

Rotring do an adjustable A2 drawing board (£143 from Amazon).
Looks like you want to be able to store things in it though which reduces your options unless you are happy to make your own.

I know, I know your Highness (or are you named after the airline) but logic isn't everything (Unamerican Graffitti not being in the Chopper volume, The Marshals not being in Target Judge Dredd with Goodnight Kiss) but I agree it does look highly likely.

Except that then leaves John Smith, so now I'm really confused.

Trying to work out whats in Dark Side of the Moon and realised that Darkside might not be included after all.
Breathing Space, a chunk of the Bolland and Gibson Lunar tales covers 100 to 150 pages and the credit for Gordon Rennie spare.
Tried to work out what it might be because if we assume Breathing, Darkside and a smattering of early LunaOne tales we only have room for a short tale which I couldn't see with the artists listed. Then I suddenly thought that Killer Elite might be the one. Works for the page count instead of Darkside and explains the Paul Marshall.
Mixed feelings, having only just got Darkside in the Casefiles and I enjoyed Killer Elite.
Sound plausible?
