Meltdown Man is an absolute classic of the early era, make it up as you go along, long running serial, that clearly had no plan, and just abruptly ended when editorial had had enough of it. And it was none the worse for that. God knows how Massimo managed it for a whole year.

Shame, as I really like Absalom, but SD is clearly among best comics ever.

Does this include future Red? Regardless, Durham Red it is.

Thanks, that's reassuring. Maybe I did take it the way Dabnett intended!

MACH1. Ok it's not that great, but a memorable early classic. I vaguely recall SP being ok, but not much else.

Brink - for years I thought the Mercury Event was actually the disappearance of the planet, which seemed an unbelievable thing to happen, and therefore maybe the space gods actually did exist. We learn this week that it's actually (just) the habs and other infrastructure in the vicinity of the planet. This makes much more sense, even if it remains unexplained. I can't believe I was that dumb!

It's all good, but my favourite so far is 2. I loved the scenes in the hab that was under construction - the art gave a sense of the sheer size of the place, and the emptiness of space in which humanity is doomed to drift.

Savage. Please come back and finish it, Pat.

Lawless though I'm a bit behind as I just read it collected. Trusting it's still good!

Bad Company, the best thing that came out of the legendary Prog 500. The first series is one of my all time top 10 (I've said that about more than 10 series, mind). The sequels were always enjoyable, and let's not talk about the recent revival.
