Had assumed there was another issue so Hookjaw #5 ending took me a bit by surprise. This series has been a bit of a moist octopus for me. Far from Spurrier's best.

Inversely I've loved it. It's been years since I've followed a floppy so I've really enjoyed seeing the tale unfold. I think Spurrier and Boyle have done a bang-up job and I'd be happy to see them tell another tale.

... 'I'm only in it for the money' ? If that's the way you really feel, have the decency to keep it to yourself.

I think you may well be in a minority with that opinion.

Bhuna- thanks for the offer but I'm hoping Steve will have a copy for me at the Edgbaston gig this weekend...

Positronic- I have to disagree completely with you here. The working method employed by Ron Smith is genius. That he was able to make it work for him for so many years is a testament to both his artistic skill and his storytelling genius.

Many artists these days would do well to learn from the life experiences of these giants of commercial art.

Sadly I can't get there but this sounds like a cracking chance to spend some decent time with comic creators.

Bhuna- Are you going to have any copies of Killing Moon there?
Steve Tanner will probably have copies of Flintlock- including the brand new issue I've not got yet.

Go on, pop along.

Hi, I've got a seven page strip for FutureQuake that is all drawn, but I'd like to see the pages with grayscale on.

If there is anyone out there who would be interested in doing this, please get in touch. I 'could' do it myself, but I would prefer someone with actual talent...

As usual for FQP, we cannot afford to actually pay, but a contributor pdf of the entire comic will be your reward- alongside my respect and gratitude.

You can get me with a PM here or reply and I'll PM you.

Ta!

Scott- have you sent the script to any small press anthologies?

Quite a few of them will be more than happy to give you crit. After all, if you don't get told, you won't learn...

Not sure if any are open for scripts currently but I know for a fact that if you visit the The FutureQuake Blog then once they reopen for scripts you'll be able to send scripts to them.
