I've just read the second volume of Geis by Alexis Deacon.

I picked up Vol 01 at TB 2017 and the second last year - I cannot recommend them enough.

It 'feels' like a lost chapter of Nausicaa by Miyazaki, largely due to the organic nature of the work.

No sign of the third volume but it is eagerly awaited by me.

Hi All, I've had a couple of emails during lockdown from Squaxx wanting to 'fill gaps' for Zarjaz or Dogbreath. I've had to politely let folk down as in all honesty I just can't store the numbers of comics it would require to keep a complete back issue selection in place.

BUT!

If you 'could' pick-up any back-issues from the runs of the galaxies greatest fanzines - what would you want? Something recent that has just dropped off the site or maybe something from well back in the day. If it was published by us here, then I can make it happen if demand warrants it.

Drop me a line, with 'back issues' in the header somewhere and if any of the issues get anywhere near making it worth me getting some more printed (around 20 is the minimum) then I'll make it happen.

PM's welcome.

Sheridan - the 2000 AD character were in the 'indieclicks' set - I bought a few of these and got myself one of the rulebooks as well. I'll see if I can find that and look at scans. The powers were fairly generic though, in order to let the 2000 AD characters interact with the other universe too.

The only clik I never manged to get was a Judge Dredd. Crazy, I know.

And they were pretty good overall. I would have loved them to have done well enough for a second series including the ABC warriors and Nikolai Dante cast.

Sorry Rory, you drew a tough one.

Ian Edginton for me.

You did well to get that cover. Think that is a definite contender for cover of the year.

Just posted this over on the FQP blog, but think it worth sharing here.

Judge Dredd - Cal's Arena

The latest strip on the FQP strip archive is a newly coloured strip from 2014 featuring Steven Austin from before he was a droid.

This is just one of the many strips available to read - for free - courtesy of FQP.

Pat Mills.

Sorry Mike - you know I love you but the ABC warriors were my gateway to thrill-power.
