Are the clones out there or are they still in the Academy? (Ooh, an excuse to go and re-read my progs :-)

Was there not something about Rico being the first to graduate?

Dunno if this wil help, but instead of left-clicking on a link (I'm assuming you're on a PC), you can right-click on it and select 'open in new window'. This lets you view the new page in a separate window which you can close once you're finished. The first page remains in the original window, so you won't have to reload it.

I tend to do this on the message board to save time. If this isn't any help, let me know what you're up to and I'll have another think about it.

has anyone other ideas about the addition of the chain?

I fairly sure I remember a story where Dredd used his badge as a bomb. I reckon I read it in the Law in Order reprints, so that probably puts it somwhere in the first 100 issues. Maybe the chain's connected to the pin and yanking the badge off arms it?

Are the one-page strips in the Meg not reprints from Loaded or some such place? Also, wasn't the story about them being club doormen also done in 2k as a normal 5-page strip?

"I don't remember a previous reference to Rico having a lover who visited him while on Titan."

Actually, this has come up a couple of times before, Rico had a daughter, now Joe's niece. I think she last turned up in prog 1300 as an opera singer from Brit-Cit. (I only remember that 'cause I was going through some old progs last week) I'm sure Wake or some other kind soul can tell us her name.

Help! / Looking for an artist
02 March, 2003, 07:34:32 PM
I'm currently a poor student toiling away at Uni. For one module this year, I have to create a website centred around some form of Flash game. So I thought I might do something based on Dredd shooting a few perps (and the odd cit' or two).
Are there any artists out there who might like to help out? If the finished product turns out to be any good, I'll try and get it hosted somewhere.

(And in case anyone is wondering, no it's not cheating. Part of my work is to source art, not create it. I just thought I'd try and find something a bit more original than the stacks of freeware graphics on the web.)

Dpends on where you're buying from. Strictly speaking, to buy something via the internet you'll need a credit card, but some places offer a postal address for cheques. You'll need to investigate every site individually.

What about Ron Perlman for Dredd?

General / Actor suggestions for 200AD Movies
14 February, 2003, 10:10:48 PM
So Rebellion are supposedly planning a number of 2000AD movies, who do you want to see playing the characters?

To start...

Ramone Dexter : Mark Dacascos (Last seen in Brotherhood of the Wolf)
A great action star who is still obscure enough to be afforable. He could pass for spanish (is Ramone black or latino?). Wesley Snipes is a more obvious choice but I reckon he'd cost too much and supposedly isn't doing action movies any more (Quoted as saying he wanted to get Blade3 done before he was too old to do it).

Cass Anderson : Milla Jovovich (Last seen in Resident Evil)
I was pleasently surprised when Resident Evil turned out to be quite good. I reckon she would make a good, strong Anderson character, capable of being Dredd's equal or even taking on a starring role. Again, she's still a cult actress to an extent which makes her more suitable(ie. affordable :-)

Aargh, gotta get to work now. I'm sure I'll have more for tonight.

Anyone think that Big Dave would be a good choice for Rebellion's next FPS?

Anonymous middle-eastern soldiers, Saddam, Love-guns, aerial invasions without parachutes...
and lots of outcry from the tabloids to guarantee sales!
