Well, yesterday was brilliant. Shame I couldn't stick around for Search/Destroy & the extended Doc, but I'm looking forward to that Blu-Ray release.
I s should be a more regular event (not because I want Molch-R & OW3-N's circuits to burn out) but because an annual, or biennial, celebration of 2000AD would be a marvellous thing.

Not sure if this would belong here or not, but Rob Williams and D'Israeli have a plan in place for a new Low Life story, which is just waiting on D'Israeli having enough time in his schedule to get it drawn.

On the train to London, next stop King's Cross. Listening to some of the Big Finish 2000AD stuff, and it's rather bloody good.

Excited to get to the Thrill Power event of the century

The Hershey stories by Igor Goldkind were pretty good. Are they in this series?

I don't think there's a Hershey volume...

I now kind of really wish there was a Hershey volume.

How's everyone deciding what to take to get signed? As I'm travelling down from Leeds with the missus for a weekend in London, thought it would best to go light on the books. Tempted to just bring my bible (aka the Script Book) and try to get as many scribbles in one book as I possibly can over the course of the day....

I don't really do conventions much...

Does anyone know whether this collection will include Titan/Enceladus?  Thinking of buying the TPB but won't if it'll be one of the volumes in the collection.

Titan and its sequels won't be in the Mega Collection.

Titan is included in one of the Low Life volumes. Will Enceladus be included?

Which I guess for context means that unless you're an absolute completist, then you can skip the first two, the third and fourth ones are about 50/50, and most of Volume five is not in the mega collection.

The Psi-Files are an easier reading experience with the stories printed in (mostly) the right order though, instead of jumping about in the middle there.

Thanks - I might pick up the Psi Files just for the sake of completion for Anderson. She's far and away my favourite character from what I've read of the Mega Collection so far (except for Jack Point)

Okay, so maybe a dumb question - if I pick up the Mega Collection (as I have been doing in dribs and drabs over the last few months to get me up to date) what Anderson stories will I be missing? Just discovered the existence of the PSI files and wondering if it's worth getting those as well as the MC Anderson volumes, or if the MC Anderson volumes are pretty much all of it.

Purchased 2 of these, quickly realised that would even last me through till April and dispatched another one up. Never realised how quickly these things fill before.

I'm presuming the 40th prog will be available at the 40th bash?  Otherwise, I shall order it...

I ordered without even thinking to ask this question. I hope it is; can always pick up an alternative cover

Decent Proggage this week.

Dredd continues at a good pace, shame to see Trevallion gone, but gruddamn; Flint is never to be sniffed at. Hoping Flint is on for a few Progs at least.
Kingmaker continues to be quite great. Felt like a fairly slow episode, but that's bound to happen when playing the long game with a story like this.
Hope will be missed, but glad it's coming back sooner rather than later. Looking forward to more from this strip.
The Order is weird but I like it. Wyrm War One next Prog, so I presume things are about to heat up - cannot wait.
Kingdom - I like it. It doesn't blow me away, but I like it. I think it's a bit of a squib to end the Prog on each week, so I've taken to skipping Dredd, reading the prog through, and ending with Dredd.

In regards to the 40th Prog - Twitter account confirmed it's separate from Subs so has to be ordered independently.

Confirmed via Twitter that this separate from Subs, so needs to be ordered separately. I went for Ezquerra too. Love Aja, but Ezquerra feels right.

For me arriving late is all the better. Fresh perspective and all that fun you'll have catching up!

I do admit that having 39.5 years worth of Prog to catch up does mean I'm never stuck for something to read.

Embarrassingly; Prog 1990. But I've jumped into the deluge of Thrill Power that has cascaded over the earth these last 40 years and made myself at home.

My excuse for being so late to the 2000AD party? Pure ignorance. I was blinded by superheroes until I discovered Vertigo. Then I suddenly wondered where all these Vertigo creators had come from. And hey presto, I found myself at 2000AD.

The Meg is on good form this month. Much as I enjoyed Blunt, I'm glad it's getting a rest - and the filmverse Anderson story was ok, but nothing groundbreaking.

This month, however, we've got a fascinating TC story in Dredd, which I'm looking forward to more of, as well as the rollicking conclusion to Angelic (which I've adored. Truly, it's been brilliant) which showed no signs of stopping right till the end - and what an ending it was.

A new Anderson story is always appreciated, so glad to see her in the pages of the Meg again.

Lawless is, judging by this episode, a deep story that I am currently missing out on the full details. And have to wait until June for a trade. Might have to digitally back issue up on the Meg to catch up with this - because the art is gorgeous, and the story seems solid.

Didn't much care for The VCs, truth told - but I find the reprints are very much a random assortment of good/bad, so I don't expect too much of those.

Overall, a great Meg, with a crap reprint packed in - but not to worry; as the Meg is worth the cost of admission alone. Stellar.
