See I don't know which way to take this. There is no world (in my head) where SBT likes the Kardashians, series 9 (???) or not... but there is an entire world were SBT is set of magnificent surprises and contradictions and its a very specifc reference so...

...I'm confused!

Sorry Colin, I was squatting outside Morrisons waiting for a taxi and trying to ignore a mad man who was attempting to engage me in conversation about the lack of benches, when I wrote that. Didn't make myself clear- I am not a fan of either strip, but of the two Dan Dare just about nabs it.

Sigh. Of the two, Dan Dare. But it's a bit like choosing your favourite episode of series nine of The Kardashians for me.

1. The Out
2. Hope
3. Hookah

Outlier- which I thoroughly enjoyed in the Meg floppies, but ignored when running in the prog. The Order has always been unreadable for me, despite my admiration for John Burns in other contexts.

Dead Meat! For some reason, and I'm not sure what that may be, I loved the strip completely. Simon Jacob's art was perfectly suited, and Inspector Raam was a brief blip of pure 2000AD in an era not exactly brimming over with great new characters. I've not read it in years mind you, but in comparison to Fr1day- a series that my brain has marked as the signifier for when the comic lost its way entirely- the sheep wins.

I'll have to go Simping Detective, if only because I feel I should reread it sometime.

Rain Dogs. Because while I only bought the hardback because it was a fiver, I did at least give it a place on my shelf. Mean Team, no thanks.

Of those listed, Hook Jaw- and I'm looking forward to book two. Of those not listed, Shako in Kingdom.

But for the purposes of this thread, the shark gets it.

Started with prog one, lapsed a bit, picked it up again off and on from #50 to #178. From #178 to about #300 I was a weekly reader, but soon after I was gone. Picked it up again in the early 400s and have been a weekly reader ever since. Did have a year off a few years ago (2018?), just to see if the prog was as still an important part of my life- it was and I missed it, so I grabbed them all at the first opportunity.

These days, even when the line-up is more miss than hit for me (like the first three months of this year), I know better than to give it up. There's always something more to my liking coming up.

Ant Wars! (Though this reminds me that I need to read Zancudo again)

Hope. Young Death, while it looked beautiful and I always enjoy dragging it out for a reread, was at least partially responsible for the demystifying of Judge Death and his comedic second life. I bought and read both volumes of Hope recently, and they are just gorgeous and utterly absorbing.

For me, The Bogie Man was one of the few weak links in Toxic, and I had forgotten it ever appeared in the Meg. Not my cup of tea at all I'm afraid. Necrophim was largely impenetrable, but did at least have that page with the dubious pig-shagging, which enlivened chat here on the Board for a while. So, Necrophim.

I know I'm in a minority but I can't stand Lobster Random- so Time Flies gets it by default. Mumblegrumble.

I'm confused. I read the point of this as being 'which finished series would we reboot or sequelise *in the comic*'? But people seem to be taking it as 'which finished series would you turn into a film or tv show?'
