Would the Revere and The Dead volume be worth picking up? I am totally unfamiliar with both strips and need someone to recommend or otherwise.

These are two very unique and decidedly weird strips, both of them which I really enjoy. Revere in particular can be a challenge to get your head around, I've always found it rewarding though and Harrisons's art is like nothing else so it's a classic opinion divider I'd say. The Dead is arguably more linear with clearer storytelling and seems to have a lot of fans. I certainly enjoyed it and am looking forward to a reread. This will be one of the most esoteric volumes in the UC probably so it depends whether that appeals to you!

I've only read one or two episodes of this. I've read that it's horribly sexist and also awful in general but I do love Belardinelli so wouldn't mind if they snuck it into a floppy. Maybe it's too embarrassing for Tharg to present to new readers though!

I want to like Proteus Vex more than I do but for some reason I struggle with it. Maybe a reread would help get my head around it.

Anyway, Kingdom, which I have adored since the first episode.

Strange and Darke is good and I wish we'd had more. But there were a lot of weeks when I finished the latest episode of Hookjaw genuinely surprised by how much I'd enjoyed it. Part of that was down to how bold it was in creating something so different to the original. Didn't hurt that Lee Gallagher did an incredible job too.

Insurrection. Great series. I appreciate that Future Shocks are important to the comic but it's only occasions that one really blows me away.
