I agree with you on both accounts that both D'Israeli and Fabry styles do not suite Dredd but they are both excellent artist. Fabry I always pen down as my numero uno for Slaine. Certain artist will always be associated with certain characters.

For me personally the prog has been solid since 2003 (I got all the digital progs over time).  You get some mini dips but that does not last for the long where the stories do not feel as solid, especially when the theme of the stories are very similar.  Currently the prog is very strong.

Yes it is a delight to have Brink back so soon.

I was wondering if we will see Slaine this year ?

Dredd – This is plain and simple a great Dredd tale. I like the way that Mechanismo units are used in the story and for the first time becomes part of the Dredd-verse (outside Wagner's stories)

Thistlebone – The story keeps the mystique going and keeps its cards close to the chest. Classic stuff with Davis painted art just awesome.

Anderson – The story looks interesting and is enjoyable

Scarlet Traces – What a pity that this must come to an end and now have to for the next instalment. D'Isreali's art is pure comic porn.  Pages 2 and 3 pure bliss.

Absalom – Roaring to its grand finale, great story great art.

5 out of 5, great prog

Although The War Machine was a great painted work of art, I never really got into the new Rogue. After the death of the traitor general Rogue was never the same. I enjoyed the Horst story-line and Cinnabar that came after but that was it for Rogue. As I said previously it look liked nobody knew what to do with Rogue.

This was for me a very in between period some really great stuff like The Horned God and Necropolis but some real "stinkers" like Dry Run (my brain went in a flat spin trying to remember this one). This was almost to introduction run for the dark ages.

I'm sad that Black Shuck never made it back for a second series: it certainly set some stuff up at the end that could have allowed another go.  If you're into your Norse mythology you might check out Neil Gaiman's aptly titled Norse Mythology.  Shuck wasn't perfect in terms of the flashback structure or the glossed over characterization but it played well atmospherically, I thought.  I definitely thought it belonged in the prog.

I enjoyed Black Shuck. This is for me  series that could have had more that it got.

All I can say is keep on reading.

I think they are proper Judges but only limited to certain areas. I do not believe that Dredd is fully behind the idea of them being on the street.

I agree with Richard that it is not Wagner. I thought it might be Matt Smith but I think someone defunct this as not true.
