Mangamax,

Zenith was:
People with obsessive personality disorder yet blessed with superhuman ability, seeking the need to either A) save the world or B) destroy it.

Storming Heaven is:

People with obsessive personality disorder yet blessed with superhuman ability, seeking the need to either A) save the world or B) destroy it.

Can't see the similarity myself.

Well I am an aspiring one.

That means I ain't sold a page let alone a whole screenplay.
Sob!

For what it's worth, I prefer Storming Heaven to Shakara.
I like them both, but so far I feel Storming Heaven has the greater potential. It just has more in it to chew over.

Shakara just does his Shakara routine and that's er..it. So far anyway.

But Storming H has oblique drug references, questions the very metaphysical nature of existence, redefines the timeless mythic story notion that is good versus evil and has lovely flowers and men with unfashionably long facial hair.

As for what the story is actually about, I haven't a clue!

What have I done?

You go to bed too late PVS!

I think Death should have some weapon in any future Dredd movie. His hand to heart routine is okay but it doesn't stand up too well to the heart stopping power of a lawgiver mark 2.

Just read the Frazer Iriving interview on the site. He revealed that the forthcoming Dredd Death story is going to be in black and white.

I think the last Dredd story in black and white was an Elm Street Nightmare, prog 635.
Maybe wrong though. If anyone knows of a later Dredd story in b/w, let me know.

Two more things.
Frazer said he had many rejections from 2k before he got his first art gig. Food for thought.

But the most important thing is it's my birthday today. Well for 45 mins more!

As to how old I am, mind your damn business!:O)

Seriously PVS, is there any way we could play it over the chat room?

Just a thought.

By the way, you do know the map for the board game is the wrong way round.

On the left it should be the cursed earth, but on the map it is the ocean.

I hope someone apart from me noticed that.

Then again...

Which Slaine story(ies) is Deathy referring to in particular?

When Slaine goes back in time a la King Arthur, Robin of Sherwood, Queen Boudica (forgive the spelling) etc.

They are ok but I rate the early Slaine tales as the best. Before Pat went into preach mode!

Hey Deathy, long time no see!

I never knew Britain was the root of America.

But then I was always asleep during history at school.

General / Just tell me why???
18 January, 2002, 08:40:43 PM
Why ?

Why don't the judges wear bullet proof uniforms?
Or at least something that would cushion the force of a projectile.

In all my years, I don't recall mention ever being paid to bullet proof attire!

Odd really when you consider the amount of crime the judges have to endure.

I suggest for this summer's fashion collection, they go with flow and wear bullet proof clothing.

Clothes to live for!
Or would you rather be seen dead without them?

I should work in advertising!

By the way, does anyone know the group Goldfrapp? Moody track I got called Lovely Head. Featured in a Mercury ad too you know.
Spooky song.

How about the Sony Corporation suing Dan Abnett for using the Sony brand name for Ramon's headcase tv, without their permission!

That would be a good storyline!

Hee hee!

Sorry Dan, just a joke.

If Shoreline and Rebellion can recreate MC 1 and the four dark judges on a budget of $28 million, I think that's the way to go.
