I thought it was good fun, but I can see where you're coming from. I remember laughing a couple of times, but I couldn't actually tell you now what they were - apart from Smith dropping a delightful C bomb.
Talking of which, Matt Smith is just astonishing.

Matt Smith has certainly been hitting the gym.  Don't know how they manage it all, what with (sub-)editing the galaxy's greatest comic 'n' all.

Just back my holidays but I see Dr X endured the wrath of the letters community in the latest Input page - I hope you can leave the house without police protection from the baying mob!

I was on holiday myself when my letter was printed.

As for this week, the baying of Tharg's sycophants is music to my ears - I guess I touched a nerve.

Brink? More like Stink, I say

(For the record, I really like Brink - I just thought the last book was over-staying its welcome a tad)

now I know why there isn't a LOL icon here....

That's very harsh. I would use a LOL icon on this thread. If, y'know, he was funny...

Some people are oddly defensive of Brink in the letters page, if you ask me.

I've just found a few of these in my boy's room; he got them about yonks ago and I forgot we had them.

House of Hell
Creature of Havoc
Night of the Necromancer

Which is best?

Not read/ played one for decades.

But only one has names its characters with puns. Plus, I use "your mouth is full of wrong" in real life.
Venus Bluegenes?

Helm?
Bagman?
Gunnar?

Not to mention Rogue himself.

This is one of those times you could use "your mouth is full of wrong" in real life

Och, bah to you and your truthfulness.

My fingers are full of wrong?

Kingdom.

Both are fabulous examples of the Prog at its best. It's a tough call.  But only one has names its characters with puns. Plus, I use "your mouth is full of wrong" in real life.

Hold on... is that Torque Armada actually real?

I thought it was some kind of Lego photoshop, where you play around with bricks on line?
