But as the man said, where's the active topics button? This is scary for me. I've still got my Kroom Skree icon, and I don't like change.

General / New Dredd Epic in prog 1646
11 July, 2009, 12:51:40 PM
Ooh, shiny new forum. Again.

Anyhoos, I mibbe can't find the Prog 1644 thread so I'm just saying my interest is piqued. This week's Damage Report mentions a new epic in two weeks time! It seems ages since the last one (Origins?)

RE-marry on the same day, though. Otherwise the whole sorry cycle will start again when you celebrate your new wedding anniversary on the old day.

Just started the Harry Potters for the first time. Quite enjoying them, too.  Finished the third on the train this morning.

Off Topic / Penguins vs Monkeys
08 July, 2009, 09:15:11 PM
"Ever since the double whammy of March of the Penguins and Happy Feet, penguins have replaced monkeys as cute comedy animals of choice. Everything about them is loveable, from the way they waddle to sliding on their bellies and devouring whole fish."

-Games TM, issue 85 (July to August 09), p.49

What do we think? Are the days of simian tomfoolery a distant memory? Did complacency and an inability to swim a length at the local baths do for them? Or does having the option to grab something with fingers rather than a beak still count for something?

What about the monkeys in Madagascar? (I laughed at their poo jokes - but is that just because a poo joke is always funny? Would it have been funnier if penguins were talking about throwing poo at people?)

Never mind North Korea, sod the recession. This is the issue of the day. Where do you stand?

Penguins vs Monkeys. It's a fight to the death...

Hmm. Not that much of a muso, me, but I likes what I likes, which is:

Clubbed to Death, Rob D
Danse Macabre, Saint-Sanes
Air on a G String, Bach
Chi Mai, Ennio Morrcione (the most haunting music I've ever heard)
Lily Was Here, Dave Stewart and Candy Dulfer

and, the Daddy, O Fortune, from Carmina Burana (the Old Spice or Satan theme to you and me)

Quote from: "The Cosh"Can we stop talking about broken cocks now please?

I've seen many things here, but never did I think this sentence would appear on a 2000ad forum, never mind in context

Trout, you're hardly placed to give advice. You should be tying a knot in it.

Two kids and no intention of it.

At the risk of being all 30 something, if you want reliable contraception and have one partner then she should get a coil. The NHS say so. They say it is as effective as preventing pregnancy as (female) sterilisation but it is easily reversed, in minutes, with no surgery either way.

I just hope Indigo Prime don't pop up. It'd kinda ruin it for me.
