I've the habit of buying stuff for my kids. (Doom board game, Starcraft Risk).

I have made a conscious effort to buy less stuff. It's like eating sweets. The craving doesn't go away, but if you skip one, then your butterfly attention flits to the next.

Anyone else afflicted by this seemingly intermittent bout of pure madness?

Ab-so-bloody-lutely.

I recently spent over £100 on a board game I really can't get enough people to play.

I can't walk into a bookshop without coming out with something. I have too many books as is.

I have a horrible affliction of buying minis I don't even have games for.  ::)

Which game?

Currently addicted to Sky Force Reloaded on the Switch. Shmups might be the only genre I ever play on that device, but god it's perfect for them.

Loved this until it became stupidly hard. Then my 10 year old brain kicked in and I learned those patterns.

Still works. As the last 20 minutes will testify.

All good, other than the Order. The Order I don't understand.

Do Hewligan.

If you want a difficult haircut, it doesn't get harder than that.

Great work here.

Off Topic / Strange Dreams (or, an odd Revere-ie)
13 August, 2018, 11:04:41 PM
So, I had a dream last night that I was reading Empire (a magazine I've never read).

Not only that, but I distinctly recall I was reading an article about the production of a Revere movie. It was being filmed in London, with an 80 year old parkour expert in a motion capture suit playing the title role.

No idea what that was about!

I really have lost the plot with The Order.

I need a bullet point guide to WTF is going on.

I don't have a clue what is going on in The Order. It feels terribly rushed.

I am losing the plot, literally, with Deadworld even though I quite like its sideways take on Dredd. Who is Byke? What is Psiren's plan?

I'd like for some of these Dead-ites to make it somewhere safe via D-Jump and into Dredd.

Star Wars died for me with The Last Jedi. I'll probably watch Solo and any other movies on a rainy Sunday, if they happen to be on telly. But the magic is gone.

You don't need to be Oscar Wilde to take the piss out of our organisational skills. Is it our fault we are lazy and apathetic?
