No, now that you've made it clear I'm finding it in my heart to forgive you ;)

Quite looking forward to the epilogue of the Books of Invasions - it'll be good to see Mills (currently on good writing form) tackling something a little different with the character. Does anyone know if it's still going to be Clint Langley on art duties?

"A nice twist (for me) to learn that Shakara isn't the Assassin of the title."

Not wanting to be pedantic (okay, I do) but that was revealed already in new articles on both this site, 2000AD Review and in Comics International, so you really didn't have an excuse for not knowing about Valentine De'Ath prior to the commencement of this series.

Back then...hmmm, I can't even remember what sort of shoes I would have been wearing. Something Italian maybe. Anyway, one of the guys was a bit of psycho and attacked the other guy basically just because he was pulling a girl. So basically this guy ruined both our chances and my birthday (though it wouldn't have been that great if we  were at the sodding Venue!).

I have some really bad memories of the Venue, perhaps because I had my dance with a svelte young lady ruined when one of my mates attacked another for no reason on my birthday, but probably more likely because I was forced into going to an 80's themed night at which Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet fame was performing (you'd have to be drunk to agree to that)!

Heh. I remember it was in the bar in Rutherford that I invented the 'Death Trip 21'...

It's not a drink for a man (or a woman, come to think of it).

Snakebite in Canterbury...that brings up very bad memories.

I bet you can still buy it in the bloody Venue.

Heh. It's not that scary - a mate of mine who is all but an alcoholic managed to spend 300 quid in one night! The man's sick (probably literally)!

Good interview - Mr. Cooling always asks the questions the rest of us want to know but are too afraid to ask!

I managed to catch up with Mr. Blythe and Mr. Parkhouse at Bristol, and the plans for an Angelfire sequel (and the film deal) sound extrememly intereting. Great to see that it's going to be widely available through comic shops (though I notice quite a few in London already stock it), since it really is a project that deserves to be an enormous success, and I think both Parkhouse and Blythe were very brave in trying to open up a new market in the UK. I hope that everyone who hasn't already done so buys a copy immediately.

Rrrrrigght - says the man who actually took said panel, cropped it, blew it up and kept it permenantly on his computer and then spent six months castigating and spreading lies about my personal life because I actually didn't write the perversely erotic equine/schoolgirl story he actually wanted to see.

If I was cool enough to dream I'd sleep more often and not stay up late working (as it is I haven't had a proper night's sleep since last November).

"cheers byron? i see that all those drawings of girls in panties on horses hasn't addled your mind :)"

ONE bloody picture and your good name's smeared for the rest of your life (I'd laugh, but I didn't even draw it)!

Why is it that boarders keep dreaming of each other? I've never had an incestuous board dream, as far as I'm aware (but then I don't really seem to dream, so I suppose I couldn't).

"note: i said he was in my dream, not I dreamt about him... important that the distinction is made."

Sorry, I don't see the significant difference. Methinks the lady doth protest too much...
