Apparently Fleischer was a protege of former EC artist and later senior DC editor Joe Orlando, and it's suspected that he may have rewritten a lot of his work for him, or had a hand in inproving it.

"How about a ressurection of Torque-Armada? No?"

YES!

If only for the fact that it may allow for the return of mek-Quake in that giant teddy bear body...

"I wonder if Reardon will be colored for 10 Seconders, I liked how is work looked colored on the Cabs Inc TP cover"

It's not coloured, it's painted - and yes, the next series of Ten Seconders is also a fully-painted strip.

Hey David - don't know if that offer would be good for anyone else to cheekily cadge off of, but getting ahold of some scanned strips from Monster fun would be incredibly helpful at the moment...

For me it's between:

1483 - The Balckblood Head Implosion (Henry Flint)

1487 - Pirates from Beyond Tomorrow (John Burns)

1505 - Origins (Brian Bolland)

1511 - Purple Reign (Simon Fraser)

1512 - The Chins Ride Again (Rufus Dayglo)

"He maintained that it was better in the director's box at Lords"

There isn't a 'director's box' at Lords - there are private boxes you can hire in the Mound and Tavern stands for corporate do's and the like, though most people in them spend their time watching horse racing on the telly. The best views in the ground are to be had in the Pavillion, particularly up at the top.

"(PB: Irish, hates golf too)"

*Everyone* hates golf - the only people who watch or play it are shape-shifting lizardmen from Venus, according to David Icke. Conversely, only true human beings (or Englishmen, as they're officially known) watch or play cricket. Which is why it's so bloody depressing to see the national team infiltrated by a load of piss-poor, lizardy-bastards...

"I can't see why people automatically seem to go "Urgh! 80s music=shit!", when as pop goes, it was a fucking great period."

Now, I'd be worried if I really thought you were being serious...
