Buttonman with your seeming obssession with all things rectal, I see how you arrived at your name! ;-). Also I don't know about you, but I do some of my best(and often only) thinking on the crapper!
That photo caption has given me a great idea for my next musical endeavour, so for that I salute you!

Product Description
Judge Anderson and a team of scientists travel deep beneath the Himalayas to the mysterious city of Shamballah to search for a solution to the cataclysmic events that are threatening to tear the planet apart. This is just one of the exciting stories in this collection, gathering together the very best of the Alan Grant and Arthur Ranson strips. Features the work of 2000 AD legend Arthur Ranson and expands on the ever popular Judge Dredd universe.

At last! Nice one.

I don't think any of the science in Doctor Who's long history was intended to give Stephen Hawking's sleepless nights. Infact the science of Doctor Who has been about as accurate as your standard episode of Space 1999 or Classic Trek- to think otherwise is too live in some strange parallel world where Who's theories on time travel are accepted as science fact.
Dig some of those old Doctor Who DVD's out and you'll find some of the most dull, contrived, plodding and down right unconvincing SF committed to cheap BBC Videotape.
But that's not what Doctor Who has ever been about, as far as I'm concerned. When I was a kid it was about the monsters, the gadgets and the Doctor's indubitable ability to get out of a tight spot.
I think I have to face facts that, now I'm an adult, Doctor Who will never be what it used to be.
It's for new generation of kids to enjoy and debate how crap it was in about 30 years time.
Or maybe that's just me.

Oh and it was far superior to last years "not so Christmas Special". So hats of to Roy Harper.

Ooooh those spinning halo's! It was Tron all over again.
To my mind the episode was pretty acceptable Christmas fare. Sure it was as lightweight as most of new Who has been, but for a Russel T Davis creation it wasn't as poor as his usual output. Although Kylie should have shouted "Get away from her you bitch!" when she boarded the fork-lift and at least there was no farting aliens!
At least there's more BSG and Primevil to look forward to next year.

If this follow up is as dull as the first movie, I shall be giving it a very wide berth. Infact if memory serves me right, I found the wooden acting and plummy voices from most of the young cast so grating and distracting I wanted to throttle the little bleeders!
Still, if this can't of undemanding pap is to your liking, good luck to ya!
Apologies for sounding like a miserable git.

I enjoyed Defoe and Greysuit and as for The ABC Warriors, well that was simply magic. BOSIII was a minor blip amongst a generally consistent run of strips from Mills, in my opinion. Looking forward to what madness he's cooked up for next year.
