Is it me, or is Lulu actually getting younger?
Has she found the secret to eternal youth, or more likely a magical fountain of Botox?
Either way, I wouldn't kick her out of bed for farting.
Now, if she'd only stop doing those crap Morrison adverts.........!

Nice to know my letter made the grade also.I'd  like to thank Tharg very much for the Bad Company GN, it's one of my favourite strips from yesteryear.
This competition got me in a very wistful and nostalgic frame of mind and my entry reflected this. Thanks again green bonce.

I think he should be killed by a giant inflatable cock-as drawn by Simon Davis.

Here's a picture of my run in with Princess Leia recently.
And no, that's not a blaster in my pocket, I'm just pleased to see her.

I've no idea where the running time 0f 72 minutes has come from. The BBFC have it listed as 84m 31s and you can't get much more reliable than them.

For me the film, despite the slightly one dimensinal characters, tapped into those primal fears and anxieties with the unknown like few films I've seen since the original Alien.
There's also a very palpable sense of the post 9/11 world we live in and the uncertainty that these kind of events create.

Hope you enjoy it.

Caught this last night-very impressive, my faith in mainstream cinema is partially restored. The missus enjoyed it also(and she's a hard one to please).
It even managed to shut up the usual annoying, mobile phone fixated teens, that general attend my local Cineworld-and that can only be a good thing!

My God, I actually agreed with a Jonathan Ross revue!

Something's wrong with the world.

"A bunch of themes doesn't make a film, meaningful incident does".

Well, I'd cosider a character who thought he was human at the start of the movie, questioning his humanity by the end a pretty significant incident-but maybe that's just me.
And that's without taking in to account how influential the film has been visually and stylisicly.
But, opinions, blah de blah.

None of these points alter the fact that the voice over is completely redundant-something both Harrison Ford and Ridley Scott have declared since the films release.

I'll rephrase that:

No rubbish voice over, no inappropriate happy ending(cobbled together from out-takes of Kubrick's The Shining) and judging by what I've read ont tinternet, a nice digital clean up job from Scott's people and a few added scenes.
