Really don't see the appeal in this sort of thing. Hope the bastards get shut down.

As 'Talk-Backers' have mentioned on the site it does sound fairly similar to Species and the recent ITV Frankenstien. Still, with Del Toro's name on the credits, I can't believe it will simply re-cover old ground.

If these AvP movies prove anything, it's that you can take a great idea and classic design and squeeze all vestiges of quality out of it and reduce it to appeal to the lowest common denominator.
Still, I'm ready to eat my hat!

Personally, I found Night Watch mostly impenetrable style over substance, but you never know, it could be good-in a kind of derivative way.

Yeah. What exactly happened to this? About time 2000ad produced a decent Calendar-especially as it't the comics 30th anniversary.

It's a classic. It got me back reading 2000ad which, at the time, I felt had become safe and un-adventurous.

Some sort of legal injunction, I believe.

Thanks Dark Jimbo! Don't suppose there's any release date on the next wave yet? Been pleasantly suprised by the 2000ad related figures so far. It's also nice to see the galaxy's greatest represented amongst all the other mainly American comic book characters. Way to go Thargy!
