Haven't picked up MH in donkey's (more of a Classic Rock reader these days!) but the awesome Dylan Teague Judge Dredd and Anthrax cover and poster in the February 2017 issue, will insure that I will!

Great also to hear that the mag and stable mate, Classic Rock has been saved from closure by Future Publishing-the news stands would of looked pretty barren without then, especially for music lovers!

Yep  - I bought a 3D telly just to watch Dredd 3D on it.

Yep  - I bought a 3D telly just to watch Dredd 3D on it.  The 3D in it is far better than watching the same film in the cinema.  For a start there's much less ghosting (ethereal double images), the picture is crisp, and there appears to be a greater depth of field. 

So you're in fopr a treat basically. 

Make sure you get the seat middle front though, as most 3D telly's don't work that well if you're viewing from too far to the left or right.

Strange, when I saw Dredd at the cinema at my local Cineworld, the presentation was superb.
The U.K home release, while watchable, leaves much to be desired, being overly grainy in parts with picture contrast far too high.

Still worth a watch, though.

[Under The Shadow]

Watched Under The Shadow on Netflix, a very effective Iranian horror film with some genuine moments of shock.
Just don't watch it in the early hours like I did!

Recieved Engram and Fetish, along with a rather lovely Cliff Robinson print!

Looking forward to diving into both volumes!
I did just have time to read the Siku interview, which made for interesting reading-would be great to get him back in the Prog or Meg some day!

Finally managed to see Bone Tomahawk and it was marvellous stuff

If you are a fan of Neil Marshall's The Descent then you should enjoy it, or if you just like cowboy films with a good dose of horror then should be all good

Cast are all good in their roles, the plot boils along nicely building to a climax of brutal violence...especially one part in particular

Nice to see Sean Young in a film again, even if it was only a minor role.

Had been wondering what the hell had happened to her.

[Werner Herzog's]

Caught Werner Herzog's fascinating documentary on the internet, Low And Behold on Netflix.

Essential viewing for anyone who's interest on how technology is increasingly dominating our lives and fans of Herzog's other films.

That's some remarkable thrills on the offing!

That FCBD has an excellent lineup as usual, putting all the others to shame!

Will be great to see Winslade on a Dredd tale, but all of it sounds like top draw stuff!!!!!   

Have any subscribers received their two volumes yet? I have an indication of them being sent on the 24th, but not had anything her so far.

Still waiting for Fetish and Engram, but never experienced problems before so guessing they're just a little late due to xmas post.
