here I am, late to the review thread as usual
Valkyries continues to disapoint - the nudity doesn`t bother me but some of the art looks underdrawn - looks like I drew it. That is not a compliment.
The Dredd story is great, has me wondering what`ll happen next
Sin/Dex is indeed a story we`ve seen before - wouldn`t it be nice if they all kill the girl instead of obeying the gunsharks unwritten rule of never killing good looking women and/or really nice people
 Future shock was alright
Rogue Trooper likewise - I liked them wiping out all the landmarks. I miss Duke MIghtem though

El Spurioso is right - there are substantial differences between dinosaurs and humans that make saurian martial arts problematic. This is why they have been adapted to suit the human frame. As can be clearly seen in Blood of Satanus, `subdue him with our saurian combat` actually means `run around and flash our backsides`. Whilst this failed to subdue Judge Dredd, it would subdue a lot of lesser men. It`s genius!

yours nonsaurianly,

Floyd

If Mills wasn`t often brilliant, there wouldn`t be so much discussion of his bad points. I too liked his recent Slaines and I always like the ABC warriors.
I don`t think anyone has been wanting him to disapear, just bagging him a lot. However, if everything he did was like Black Siddha it would be a pleasure to see him walk off into the horizon etc

ps aargh, where is my name check? I gots to know!

Doesn`t matter what goosegash has published, he can comment on the story. For mine the story is alright but some of the writing is so goony that it made me wonder too, if Mills is doing a parody. That line about treating every law breaker the same as Orlok was extremely cheesy.
"if a writer has ever been subject to a slating around here, it's Mills!". True. And if a writer has ever asked for a slating it's Mills!

For sale, one loft. Includes sleeping student called Krusti. Cash on delivery.

My parents` loft is worth millions in outdated sporting equipment, but they won`t use ebay, they think it`s a plot.

yeah, now`s a good time to give up. I used to smoke 40 a day, then gave up through a combination of pride, patches, supernatural help and gambling. Then I came to Japan and had two smoking dreams in my first week here because there is so much more smoking and smoke-related advertising.
If I can do it anyone can,

ps errr, that probably doesn`t help you much.

thanks gary, I`ll look out for it. good to read about it.
Other hard-to-make movies were Mad Max (made for $100,000 AUD with one director working as a casualty director on nightshift during the movie) and Hollywood Shuffle (also paid for by credit cards).

cheers,

I thought it should have been longer, but I don`t know if that would have saved it. The art was brilliant.
