aaaaaaaaalrighty, as Jim Carey used to say. I have created my poll.  Since it`s my first, if you have any criticisms of the questions let me know. Basically I want to know if English speaking people would use "comic cafes". These places are everywhere here. You pay about two pounds for up to four hours of comic reading and you can also get free drinks (no alcohol I`m afraid). I`d love it if there were places like this with English comics but what do you think?

not that it matters but kanji are the Japanese written language characters which come from the Chinese characters (I don`t know what the Chinese call them). The Japanese have three other sets of characters if you include the alphabet (which they use a lot).

first up, being asked the same vague question ad infinitum is always gonna be a pain in the arse, regardless of one's occupation, and don't believe anyone who tells u different.
  - I feel your pain. But what do you expect them to ask?

As for style, well the trick to doing interviews is to reply in the same style in which the questions were asked. Al does his usual thang and so i replied in a suitable style. And damn those who dare defy the Fre-Ky Trig-Ger. Burn, BURN i say, let thy flesh melt from thy puny mortal frame and hellfire consume thee in an orgy of pain and many etc's, wailing and howling and whistling with confused emotions resembling joy AND pain.
 - I rest my case

It`s nice that Paul Bonn Scott agrees with me on this. I re-read the interview after I read Nigel`s post just to be sure.  I no longer want him to change his profession.  I never really did anyway - I just wonder why he complains about questions that are bound to come up in interviews with comic artists.  
  It`s possible I missed the point. I wouldn`t want Frazer to give up his sense of humour.

 I found your reviews on the 2000ad message board.  Good stuff.  I like your reviews although I disagree with you about Synamon.  I love Siku but you`re right about him being incomprehensible in this one.
