I liked the ones I read too, JBC. With reservations (such as I thought the Russian's second appearance was pretty silly), but overall they were genius.  I wish I had a huge comics fan housemate (well, I wish I had the housemates I have now plus your housemate's collection). In answer to your questions:

1/ Dunno. Under 15?

2/ The Punisher stays young by being dead hard and angry all the time

3/ I think he dislikes Daredevil for being a due-process-observing goody goody

4/ Probably. I don't think anyone was detesticled in Bloody Mary

the arse-exposing qualities of the cyberwoman suit would be perfect for Kylie. Also the acting required is wooden and emotionless

Help! / Making pictures all little

A techno-incompetent writes:

I took my students on an excursion to darkest Melbourne on Friday.  Amazingly none of them were shot in gangland killings*, so they took a lot of pictures of themselves being non-murdered around the place.
I want to put the pictures on the class wiki, but don't know how to make the pictures nice and manageable like pictures are here.  Can anyone help me? My undying grattitude and a copy of a David Bishop** 'Phantom' comic

*we've had too many of those recently

** other authors also available inlude Lee Falk and some swedish bloke

Help! / Re: Judda Question
29 July, 2007, 10:27:05 AM
I think you're confusing the Judda with the Law Lords, aliens who look a lot like the Judda and are just as arrogant.  They appeared in the story where Dredd and some others go to an off-planet 'LawCon'.

No doubt someone who knows the comics much better than I do will be along soon to correct me if I'm wrong about this

I don't see why there couldn't be a few more hanging around. Maybe some of them couldn't hack it as proper Judges and have civilian lives

Brilliant stuff, Art. I love the way they make everything, even Back to the Future, the Mel Gibson Mutiny on the  Bounty AND Godzilla vs Hedorah, seem like arty European movieshttp://www.agrayspace.com/posters/polish1/GODZILLA_VS_THE_SMOG_MONSTER_1972.jpg">

Since Sc*** has made yet another goodbye, I for one will ignore him. I will not reply to his posts, nor will I read threads he starts.
I support the Trout's call for him to be banned again.

I second that recommendation. I'm listening to the 2000AD Big Finish stuff now and it's excellent. Roy and I have just finished 'Wanted - Dredd or Alive' and have started 'Code 99 red'

Are there any books in which Ireland wasn't divided up back in the 1920s?

As for the Nazis, are there any in which they somehow developed hindsight and stuck to occupying Europe, avoiding war with the UK and (an even better idea) with the USA and USSR?
I used to wonder if we'd be boycotting their food products now

SS-GB is a ripping read indeed, but as I said before, there are heaps of 'if the Nazis and or Japanese had won WW2' stories'

So what happened in 'Joe Steel'?
