I was behind a cyclist once on a bypass, he was too far out in the slow lane (only two lanes), and I didn't get to see him as I was coming round a corner, I couldn't pull out as the traffic was flowing to my right, and no one was letting me out, all I could do was break HARD, and I stopped less than a foot from his back wheel...he was oblivious, didn't even look back, I shat myself.

I had a 240v experience where a metal down-pip was not earthed properly - I 'danced' a merry jig for what felt like 10 minutes (probably only 20 seconds).  Hurt like hell, and my leg was 'seized' for a day afterwards.

Being able to carry a knife openly, or an axe (because we were camping or collecting wood) and not being stopped at gun-point by the police.  Investigating tunnels, forests, abandend buildings.  Having sooo MUCH time to do anything you wanted.  The sky being a proper deep blue not the limp, faded blue that it is today.  Watching out for the first snow of winter as it circled down around a lamp post (and for there being PROPER snow at least every other year).  Building dens, climbing trees, finding every other use for the equipment in the park other than what it was designed for.  First kiss, first crush.  The excitement of a new pair of trainers, and you REALLY could run faster in them.  Getting your first pair of PROPER trainers (Addidas or Nike) and them being called 'add-dee-das' and nike (not nike-ee)...

I could go on...

Fuzzy - have a look at Bolt's blog...it's got some of his own 3-panel stuff and some of the stuff we do together.  Also, buy a copy of LostPoperty (and while your at it, if your wallet stretches to it, get Future Quake, The End Is Nigh, Tales of the Contrary, all of PVS stuff - SolarWind, etc., Pony School, etc., etc.).  All of these are UK Small Press products and the quality is excellent.

It will give you a taste of what you could do, or what you could contribute to.  Have a look at www.futurequake.co.uk which has some of the old FQ's for download FREE in pdf format.

If you fancy writing something for FQ or the others then get in touch with the various 'editors' and let them see what you can do.  The FQ site has some good submission guidelines and example scripts for you to have a look at (and anyone else) as well.

Nothing on mine Wul...but I went through a similar process with Yahoo a while back...lasted a week or so and then just went.
