Had a go in a friend's Lotus Elise (how'd you spell that) the other day...I think that had one of those slam-drive things fitted...also had a device that makes your friend go very pale and crap himself when you mistakingly go in to 3rd not 5th...he did say to 'push it'....

In most cases this type of over-the-top use of 'future language' drives me mad and can kill a story, but for some reason Smith manages to pull it off everytime when I read his works.

Weird that...

For my stag weekend, we did the Paintballing, off-road carting (crap as they were too slow and regulated) and quad-biking (crazy, dangerous, fun).  As it was close to the wedding I got kitted up for the paintballing in two jumpers a hat and a hooded-top (I don't think hoodies existed back then, just hooded tops) in addition to the hooded-gear the place provided...excellent fun, but due to the un-seasonally hot weather I nearly died of heat-stroke!!!

Steve,

If you do get the chance...I'd like to see 'Dredd's Head' in a darker blue like Noisy suggested.

Hadn't thought about the implications that the next-gen consoles may have on TV productions.  Interesting though, as people need to recover their costs and another avenue for the work already done could lead to some unexpected stuff on our screens.
