I find the target books great for resting your head after reading a particularly heavy book.

I think the conan books are great fun.

And the City is brilliant. I remember Miller's art from when I used to play warhammer and read White Dwarf, many many years ago...

I used to love those fighting fantasy books!
There was one of them on a spaceship, and one of the tasks was, you came to a path, with various numbers on each square, you had to add them up, and go to that number for your next paragraph, I always got stuck on that bit. Was that Starship Traveller?

Carnosaur, was written under a pen-name by Mr. David Langford, I believe...

'Almost everyone in my age bracket remembers passing around copies of the Rats at school. Violence and sex? Hurrah!'

Yeah, but The Fog had lesbians having sex... give that to a thirteen year old boy and, well I'm told the effects can be... explosive.

'Of course now I only read literature...'

er...ah, yeah, me too...

I know what you mean about the early Herbert books, they did the same to me.

Smiley, that description made me laugh, very good.
Naked women menaced by snakes... 'Gor' anyone?

Marvel used to do these little pocket sized comics, reprinting loads of old stuff, x-men, spiderman and the like. My mumused to buy me them every week, and were really my introduction to US comics.

Never read Sven Hassel, but I used to read pulpy horror novels, like Guy N Smith, giant crabs ahoy!

Brilliant news!!

I am really really happy for you, children are the best thing that can ever happen to you.

One thing though, no-one bothered to tell me that I would be worrying about the for EVERY SINGLE minute of the day and night... oh well, comes with the job.

Congratulations to all about to get their bundles of joy. My sister has her second on the way, too.

I know, but I wanted to get the words 'wee' and 'willie' in the same sentence. And now I've done it again!

And let's not forget Saddam's Love Gun from Big Dave, it was a wee bit willie like.

And I was thinking the same thing as someone mentioned earlier, this strip is not really any more 'rude' than Carry On Judging. Or the Sex issue, remember that?

'Not sure about the fuzz on Dredds face but otherwise superb'

I'm only guessing here, but I don't think it is Dredd, but a porno actor playing him..?

Yeah, me too. I really like your style of drawing.

Was this conceived as some sort of experiment, to see just how many double entendres you could get onto a page.
Great stuff, but if that thing raises it's head, he'll pass out from blood loss to the head (the other head)!
