If any confusion arises over the pronunciation of names in Sl?ine, just remember it's set in ancient Ireland, where English is not their native tongue- there are numerous clues hinting at this, like him being the High King of Ireland etc

If you are speaking English it is pronounced Slane

If you are speaking Irish it is pronounced Sl?ine/something like Slaan-ya

There was no V in the Irish/Gaelic alphabet
(they added it fairly recently)

"bh" sounds like "v"

as in "bh? m? ag p?stal cac ar an idirl?on inniu"

Futsie- being short for Future Shock Syndrome must then be pronounced "Fewt-see" right?

Except I always call it "Foot-sie"
