Karne,
My point being wouldn't it be a perfect opportunity for all those people who complain about the state of the comics industry, to plug and sell a very good comic to people who would normally read the book- instead, point them in the direction of the comics or the trade paperback (if they can find either).

Off Topic / LOEG: Somebody has missed the point.

So I was reading some movie news yesterday, and I notice that the people in charge of the LOEG (League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen) movie have done a deal with Simon & Schuster to release a novelisation of the movie!!!!

Get that!

Now if they had been clever, surley this would have been out of the question, and anyone wanting to read the "book" should instead buy the trade paperback, or the comics themselves.

What's worse is that the book probably won't even read anything like the original comic.

If the comic was supposed to be a novel, wouldn't Alan Moore have written it as a novel in the first place?

Ok, rant over- sorry it really narked me off when I read about it!

I've just played six games of (10 mins each ?) Pro Evolution Soccer, and I lost all bar one, which I drew against Saudi Arabia!
See, this is why I should play more often, I need practice.

Ok, review time.
Spoilers ahead.

Cover: Ok, worst thing about it was the dodgy font used for the Atacar tag, and the writing that ran down the side.

Dredd/Aliens: Yeah baby yeah. Another great episode. The Ahh! so that's how they're gonna get out of the situation episode. Wonder if there's gonna be any fallout from this after it all concludes?

Damn mobile advert!

Caballistics Inc: Good stuff. Can't decide about Reardon's art. Some panels it's great. one or two it looks weak. I still miss most of the references. I also get the feeling that this is Rennie's answer to a second series of Necronauts.

VC's: Williams best artwork yet on this series. Story looks like it's panning out to be fairly enjoyable. Who are the baddies of this stroy gonna end up being? Somehow I don't think it'll be about the Geeks.

Telguuth: I actually enjoyed this two parter. (It's only the second Telguuth tale that I have enjoyed) The art has grown on me a bit too. "Transsexual Lightning!"

Atavar: Not a moment too soon, the story is explained to some degree. Great stuff. Fab art. Great Aliens. Decider Jad still cool as a cucumber.

Overall: Best prog of the last three (I can't remember much beyond that). Worst thing about this prog was the fact that once again there wasn't an input page.

I'm off to read the Meg!

Yeah, this git would like to point out that the Danish postal service are currently advertising themselves as the best in Europe...
... and I'd have to agree with that. Early progs, HAND delivered, so NEVER creased (except once when the regular postie was off sick!)

B: I AM married!
And if my heart wasn't in it, I wouldn't be.
I will admit though, that the only reason you want a relationship with him is probably due to his Thrill Organ ;-S
