General / Re: How do you want to see Dante end?
04 May, 2011, 02:09:08 PM
After being a huge fan of the story arch till just after Tsar Wars, I'd now just like to see it actually end.

I won't mourn it's passing, whereas back then, it was the one thing that kept me coming back to 2000ad through thick and thin.

Far beyond my meagre pocket.

Though I'd give my left nut for any of those covers.

Just one (mint) Cornetto!

Give it to me!

Oh you want a pound for it!

That's a capitalist society...

My son saved someone's life today.
A pensioner went off the edge of the train platform on his mobility scooter and landed on the tracks. He and his friends climbed down onto the tracks and rescued him before the train arrived.

That's bloody great. You should be rightly proud.

It also makes you kind of like Jor-El in my book.

Glad I searched for this thread and didn't start another.

I'm all booked up like the convention whore I am.

You're not truly dead until at least three interwoven conspiracy theories have sprung up around you.

Gotta love the internet and the unstoppable rise of opinion being anything of worth.

Yes some of them have been run, including the one from the guy I think Chris Askham knows.

I didn't think I knew anyone who had been published in Clint, but I could be wrong.

Has the one by Stephen Baskerville been printed?

If so, I used to work with him.

Claim to fame no.4a.

Dunk! - it's not who you know, it's what time is lunch?

Sadly I've had this version for weeks.

Because it's Halo and therefore I HAVE TOO.
#776
Ah, seeing as this falls on a payday, and I may have survived Bristol, think I'll give it a shot.

What's the worse that can happen?

Being bereft of fellow workers (except one who I don't care for) on any of the desks near me due to the coming Easter/Wedding bank holiday extraviganza means I can order something smelly for lunch: Curry, chilli, extra onions, garlic, it's all good.

I can also turn my music up a tad and take extra long bathroom breaks for today only.

My head swims with the power and possibilities of it all.

And then I'm off on me own hols for 11 days straight.

*Swoon*

Giddy Dunk!

This cover has always haunted me due to the strange mutant Peters and Lee image on the lower right billboard.

WTF?

Ron Smith could express the weirdness of Mega City One like no other.

Wow, they literally take my breath away.

So iconic.

Ew, that's my afternoon listening sorted.
