That's a phrase I never thought I'd hear. The Simp is the best thing in the Meg since, er , ever. (IMHO).

its getting to the stage now when with the price of computers falling every day you are better off getting a new computer  than trying to upgrade an existing one - it can actually work out cheaper because of the economies of scale someone like Dell are working with.

You'd be better off spending £300 on a new PC I reckon. Might be worth holding off a month or so until you can get Windows Vista pre-installed.

I ordered my 'Nemesis' a few days ago, but from the manufacturers rather than the Future Shop.

From my searches DVD.co.uk seems to be the cheapest for the 'Case Files' type books.

I'm not much up on uniforms, but I do know more than is healthy on WW2 history etc so if I can help with that let me know.

But PVs, the whole thrust of the article (& my point) is not to aim the Annual at kids but at the thirty/forty something 'nostalgia' market.

'Best Of Jackie' isn't selling by the bucketload to 13 years olds, but to women who were 13 in the 1970's.

If a 2000AD annual was marketed to old lapsed readers it would (1) sell on its own merits & (b) perhaps bring a small percentage of buyers back into the weekly comic.

 

"From Dandy to Smash Hits, children's comic annuals are making a comeback under the Christmas tree"

But sadly still not a 2000AD annual in sight !!

Rebellion are failing to kick the ball into a wide-open goal here if you ask me.

Season 3 just ramps everything up from Season 2.

Great show - best sci-fi on TV by a clear mile.

Thank fuck for that. My 2 little girls love the bloody Wiggles & I'm sick to death of them. You need to be a dad to understand!
