>I never bothered with Brunswick Cellars, as it was too far from where I lived, so I don't know if it's still around.

The Brunswick Cellars does indeed still exist: a sort of dingey wine cellar accessed by ricketty stairs, with wine bottle candles on the tables and dead students slumped in its far recesses.  I'm rather fond of it.

Last time I went they let me in, but my droids had to stay outside.

Anybody going to the Glasgow demo on Saturday : I'm the ugly sucker with the 'CAL-HAB against the war' placard.

I'm meant to be going.  It's a foregone conclusion that I'll be hungover, so I'll be the one staggering around, clutching my head and screaming "My brain's exploding!  My brain's exploding!"

According to the Outpost Gallifrey website, the release date has been put back yet again, this time to 2nd June.

As usual, the BBC just don't know what they're doing.

Why should the media be interested?  What's controversial about it?  It's just yet more myth-based Millsian cod-mysticism.

They've got a (plot) device called the Universal Translator.

Because they have hundreds of invisible legs.

Why do we never see the ghosts of dinosaurs?

They don't get made, they're from another planet (according to an ancient Future Shock).

Do you know the way to San Jose?

"You built a time machine?  Out of a DeLorean?!"

And my favourite slice of cheese from the remake of Invaders From Mars:

"The US Marines have no qualms about killing Martians!"

A very good site - nice one, Mr H.  I'll certainly be keeping an eye on it in future.

Ah yes!  The famous Non-Singing Dwarves of Kelvingrove Street.

Maybe I'll check it out next time I'm on the lash.

>Personally, I like the Settle Inn in Stirling, The Grove in Glasgow

Where's The Grove, your highness?

My favourite's Bacchus in Glassford Street, although Bar Boozy's a quality hideaway for a sneaky swift one while the missus isn't looking.

General / Cool ships

Here's another thing that 2k strips need: cool spaceships.

Back in them thar good ol' days, we had things like the Blitzspear, the Preying Mantis, the Satan Dart, the Manta Prowl Tank... even Justice One was cool.

So what happened to the spaceships as characters?  Look at the Star Wars movies - we all know the names of all the ships, and they became characters in their own right.

It's essential we have cool spaceships in 2K - IMMEDIATELY!

Droids have been well-served by Mr Mills in ABC Warriors and Ro-Busters (bring back Ro-Busters!).

Also by Grant/Wagner in Robo-Hunter.

But since then?  Nada, aside from Banzai Battalion.

I demand a new strip with robots as central characters!
