your right there jaredkattoie, in "good night kiss" dredd takes the dead female judges lawgiver and once he removes the grip he has 3 seconds to remove the explosive charge before it explodes so i presume only a trained judge could do such an operation

 remember that story in the megazine when dredd encountered shimura? wernt the hondo city judges plotin something against mega city 1, and didnt they steal some secret security information about the big meg from a ruined bunker in meg 2? well lets have all out war between the two a twelve month mega epic .mega city brute force against hondo city tech, throw in shimura, yakuza, dredd leading his  own force of jungle fighters ala drkies mob. wot do ye think

i live in cork city in ireland and we have yet to recieve prog 1341 which should have been here since last thursday. Not a single shop has it and when ever ive asked all ive got are bemused loks and mutters about " shipping" problems. to  make matters worse im after looking at the prog 1342 thread ( i couldnt resist) spoilers an all, so now my head is even more wrecked. if both progs arent in the shop when i go down later, there will be much shouting in said shop. Sopmebody better have got fired for this cock up. peace

The V.C's: cant get into it at all. That titty episode was absolute shite.all it was short was sinister dexter to show up and it would have  been the complete "crap humour episode" The first run last year got me excited, specially henry flints art, but the latest run has read like filler.i cant see this series going any where. humour in 2000ad has allways been hit n miss, n the V.c's is made worse by the fact that it dosn't seem to know if its a war story or  another "hilarious" dan abnett story. but n way not trying to sound too negative. hope im proved wrong in the end. hopefully  wont be like mark millers robo hunter





 

i always liked ennis dredd and to be honest its only recently ive realised how many people cant stand his writing. i thought his dredd was always a more of a hard ass and compl;ete and utter bastard. he gave dredd a more american feel which was alright with. Ennis wrote some classic dredd: emerald isle, justice one, n who can forget the opening panels of the last part of judgement day " beyond madness there is judge dredd" ( hope i got that qoute) but any way, see how de story turns out n as far as the west wall is concerned, to be honest i allways thought it was a mistake of  wagner to say cal built the west wall. how did they they keep the cursed earth n all its crud out of mega city in the years before cal? but anyway wagner king, ennis lesser king, serious respect to both of them

    True, but the only thing is dat every crap rogue story  takes away from the origional, and even if de put one of  2000ad's great artists on de story(we know who they are, and its not any of the artists that have worked on it already) it might be something , but its like a half hearted filler. As for slaine, i used to love slaine up until the 900's when de time travel thing just got out of hand, n the six pages a week didnt suit de story at all. Any way i reckon he'll b killed off this year n hopefully a few other characters will follow.
