I wasent under the impression that the Cursitor Doom collection was cancelled, I bought one off him and it was available at the time with Phantom Patrol(?).
The line went into limbo as he couldnt secure copyright for more. Still rare though it had a print run of 300 only, good comic.
My own 13th Floor collection had a print run of 700.
My favourite and probably most expencive are the Hawke Dan Dare and Trigan Empire hardbacks, glorious art and probably the best comics story ever in the Man from Nowhere.
Didnt know that Miracleman story was collected, I have the issues, mayby ebay!!

QuoteWhen scientists dissect it and find the word "Mars" running all the way through it, they will know it is a rock.

Help! / Original Art
23 November, 2010, 11:13:07 PM
Im considering selling some more of my original art, and I have the following piece of Daily star Dredd that Im wondering if it is original and if any other collecters have similar pages,I dont want to put it on ebay claiming 'original' if its not.

Its a cut and paste job of 5 daily star strips onto one page with the copyright out of each, its signed by Wagner Grant and Gibson.
On the back of the page is the stamp saying its from 2000ad pro 619 page 32.
I bought it about 8 years ago as original art, but looking at the pages there is no pencil marks  and the lettering is on the page rather that stuck on. When I run my finger over it I can feel the art. Any Ideas?

Having just read about the Highland clearences in Scotland, and it similarties to the situation in Ireland at the same time, it made me realise how much I dont know about Britain and British history. I will follow the rec above, anyone care to rec some folklore collection from England, Scotland and Wales?

Books & Comics / Re: Whats everyone reading?

Finished the Criminal collection by Brubaker and Philips, got it last christmas and never read it, great collection, first two stories are pretty strong, second half not as good, more wrapping up the first two stories, still good though.

Good comics.

I had always presumed that it was some russian version of Dredds mantra, good to seed it confirmed. Good Idea for a thread, and another opportunity to see why a covers collection is a great Idea, the Eagle covers are class.

Thats great, a TV series may work, wonder would the IMF would  go for funding if it was done in Irish! Reminds me to read the rest of the novels, the first one from what I remember was pretty enjoyable.

Lily Mckenzie is the best thing in the meg, hope they have something as good to replace it.
